Pick up at the Melcher-Dallas Public Library during business hours: open until 5pm today and 9-11am tomorrow.
- Free
- One bag per kid.
- Bags for children 18 and younger.
- The bags will be filled with a variety of shelf stable food.
- First come first serve, when they are gone they are gone.

They will have a variety of shelf stable food in them.

Just a reminder if you havent yet, fill out the free/reduced lunch application online! Also you can fill it back out again anytme your income changes.

I have listed below where it is at in JMC.

Hopefully if we get everyone to fill out the form we will again qualify to hand out Summer Meals to ALL children in the Melcher-Dallas area for the summer of 2026!

We need your help! For us to qualify we have to have at least 50% of our students receiving Free or Reduced school lunches. Please fill out the online form! Even if you think you don’t qualify!
Please share with friends and family with kids in the Melcher-Dallas school system. We need everyone to fill out the form! Please!

Free and Reduced School Lunches help support so much in school and outside of it, like our summer meals program! The Free and Reduced School Meal Program and Summer Food Service Program are your tax dollars at work. These are tax dollars which come directly back into the Melcher-Dallas community by way of feeding children – which is something I think we can all agree is important!!

How to apply for Free and Reduced School Meals:
- Go to JMC (https://melcher-dallas.onlinejmc.com/Parent/Login.aspx)
- Select 2025-2026 for the School Year drop down.
- Log in with your username and password
- On the left click Register for 2025-2026
- Click Application for Educational Benefits (it’s the second to bottom link)
