⚓️ BIG NEWS for Courageous Division! ⚓️

Please join us in congratulating our newest Chief Petty Officer, Cadet Jakob Southerland! 👏🇺🇸

Jakob began his journey in the program at just 10 years old as a League Cadet, and through years of hard work, determination, leadership, and dedication, he has now achieved the rank of Chief Petty Officer — the highest rank attainable in the Naval Sea Cadet Corps.

This accomplishment did not come easy, but Jakob continued to push forward and never gave up. His journey is a true example of perseverance and commitment, and we could not be more proud of all he has achieved.

Congratulations, Chief Southerland! ⚓️

Today we celebrate and thank all of the incredible mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures who support our cadets and our unit throughout the year.

Thank you for the early mornings, late nights, encouragement, sacrifices, and unwavering support you give behind the scenes. Your dedication helps make Courageous Division stronger every day. 💙

Courageous Division was proud to support Hero Fest, presented by Back Brevard Heroes!

Our cadets had an incredible day giving back to the community by presenting the colors, assisting with setup and cleanup, and representing our unit at our vendor table.

Events like this are what being a Sea Cadet is all about—service, leadership, and teamwork. We are proud of our cadets for stepping up and making a positive impact in our community.

A big thank you to Back Brevard Heroes for allowing us to be part of such a meaningful event! 💙⚓️
