“For such a time as this…” — Esther 4:14

⛽🚐 HELP FUEL THE MISSION 🚐⛽

Every single day at New Life Mission, our vehicles are in motion.

Before most people start their morning, our vans are already transporting children to schools and daycares across the Space Coast. Throughout the day, moms are driven to medical appointments, job interviews, counseling sessions, classes, and life-changing opportunities. Our facilities team also travels between campuses helping care for dozens of families every week.

Transportation isn’t extra at New Life Mission.
It’s essential.

Right now, rising fuel costs are making it increasingly difficult to keep our mission moving forward. On average, we spend $237 every week on gas alone — but we cannot slow down.

Children still need to get to school.
Moms still need to get to work.
Families still need support every single day.

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. 🇺🇸

Because of their courage, we have the freedom to serve, to love our community, and to continue creating spaces of hope and healing for families right here in Brevard County.

Today, we remember the cost of freedom — and we honor the legacy of those who gave everything.

As we gather with family and friends this weekend, may we also take a moment to reflect with gratitude and compassion for those who have served and the families who continue to carry their memory.

Behind every mission that changes lives, there are people faithfully working behind the scenes helping make it all possible. 💛

Congratulations to our Bookkeeper, Lisa, on receiving this month’s SOAR Award at New Life Mission.

Each month, the SOAR Award is passed among our staff members to recognize the dedication, hard work, and heart behind the many roles that keep New Life Mission moving forward every day.

As our Bookkeeper, Lisa faithfully helps keep the mission running smoothly through her attention to detail, steady support, and willingness to serve others well. Her work may happen quietly behind the scenes, but its impact is deeply felt throughout our organization.

“Lisa is always someone who works quietly behind the scenes making things happen,” shared Cathy, who nominated her for the award. “I personally appreciate her shared knowledge and willingness to help me during my onboarding.”

At our April staff meeting, Cathy herself received the SOAR Award. Melanie had this to say about Cathy; “Ever since she’s gotten here, she has been nice, kind, and an overall positive presence in the office.”

We love seeing our team encourage and celebrate one another in the work God is doing through New Life Mission. ✨

New Life Mission is preparing for a summer filled with laughter, learning, creativity, and connection — and we’re looking for volunteers ready to help make it unforgettable. ☀️

Whether you’re a student earning volunteer hours, a parent wanting to give back, or someone simply looking to make a difference this summer… there’s a place for you here.

Monday–Thursday
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
June & July

* Helping support daily camp routines

DENIM WITH A PURPOSE. 💙

At the New Life Mission Transform Shop, donated denim becomes so much more than fabric.

Every pair of jeans carries the potential for transformation — not just into beautiful handmade pieces, but into confidence, opportunity, job skills, and restored dignity for the mothers in our program.

What was once overlooked is being reimagined into something meaningful… just like the lives being rebuilt here every single day.

Right now, we are especially looking for experienced volunteers with sewing knowledge and skills to help support and guide our Transform Shop. If you have experience sewing, tailoring, crafting, pattern-making, or working with textiles, we would love to connect with you.

We’re currently seeking:
✨ Skilled sewing volunteers & educated volunteer staff
✨ Denim donations including gently used jeans, jackets, skirts, and other denim materials

Whether you’re an experienced seamstress, designer, hobby sewer, or someone passionate about teaching and creating — your time and talents can directly help empower mothers working toward stability and independence.

Your “yes” could help create sustainable opportunities, restore confidence, and remind women in our community that transformation is always possible.

At New Life Mission, our Children’s Program is so much more than childcare — it’s a safe place where children are encouraged, supported, loved, and reminded that their future matters.

Every week, our team pours into children through learning, mentorship, creativity, consistency, and connection… and right now, we’re looking for volunteers willing to come alongside us and help make that impact even greater.

Whether you’re helping with activities, reading alongside a child, assisting during Kids Club, or simply showing up with patience and kindness — your presence matters more than you know.

The team successfully carried out the Village clean-up, which covered the Disney Log Cabin, the Chapel, and the NLM Administrative building. Your team members performed exceptionally well!

There is something powerful that happens when a community comes together to serve with humility, joy, and purpose.

A heartfelt thank you to Grace Church of Melbourne for showing up in such a meaningful way during their Serve Day at New Life Mission. From cleaning and caring for our Village spaces to helping steward the environments our moms and children call home, your generosity made a tangible impact.

The Disney Log Cabin, Chapel, and Administrative Building were all refreshed through the hands and hearts of volunteers willing to serve behind the scenes — and that kind of love never goes unnoticed. 💛
