We crushed a 50-point bonus today that most other teams didn’t…maybe no one else did!

Those tricky producers tried to throw us off with a photo of Cumberland Mountain State Park’s entrance. We went there, got the photo, but something didn’t feel right.

After rereading the clue, we realized the real target was the Crossville Water Tower, marking the crossroads of the Cumberland Plateau and Tennessee.

Cat & Wendy, Team #76, may have hit a bump in the road somewhere in Tennessee, but nothing could stop them from crossing the finish line in style.

Thanks to Oak Ridge Chief of Police, Robin Smith, they got to ride shotgun in the finish line parade! 🚓🎉

One of today’s Fireball Run missions took us behind bars at Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary in East Tennessee. Once a maximum-security prison, it’s now home to history, secrets, and some seriously strong moonshine.

We spotted James Earl Ray’s makeshift ladder (the notorious inmate who escaped in 1977) completed the bottling challenge at the Brushy Mountain Distillery.

For 50 points we bottled 80 proof moonshine, topped off with a generous 1” of 160 proof. Not sure if we should sip it… or power a steam engine. 😅

A bonus that involves ice cream? Say less! Of course we had to visit Cream City Ice Cream in Cookeville, Tennessee🍦
