📣Calling all Leadership Medina County alumni -- We need your voice! 📣

As we close out our 35th year, we’re reflecting with gratitude on the incredible community that has been built, because of you. Now, as we look ahead, our Board is taking intentional time to re-evaluate our mission, vision, and core values to ensure LMC remains meaningful, impactful, and sustainable for the future.

We invite you to share your perspective through a brief 10-question survey. Your feedback will be anonymous and will directly help shape the next chapter of Leadership Medina County.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey by May 15th.

Your voice matters, and your continued support is what keeps this community strong.

The LMC Signature Class of 2026: Legacy 35 came together on April 29th for a meaningful Closing Retreat filled with reflection, connection, and celebration.

The morning featured class project presentations in collaboration with the LEAD Institute: Leadership Medina County: A Strategic Review to Shape the Next Chapter. This project was created in honor of LMC’s 35th year, the project explored a critical question—what will it take to ensure Leadership Medina County remains impactful, relevant, and sustainable for the future? The insights shared uncovered valuable opportunities to help guide LMC forward.

The afternoon was spent together from reflecting on where they began to envisioning what lies ahead, the day highlighted the strength of the relationships built and the impact of the journey shared.

As one classmate, Angela, shared:
“LMC became a safe environment to just be me and meet some amazing people… if we stick together, we can continue to do great things for our community.”

More than a milestone, this moment marks a transition honoring 35 years of leadership while looking ahead to a future shaped by engaged, inspired leaders. Excited to see what’s ahead for both LMC and the Legacy 35 class. ✨

Leadership Medina County’s Signature and LEAD classes came together on April 29th for a powerful Closing Retreat—celebrating a year of growth, connection, and impact.

As LMC marks 35 years, this year’s theme of Legacy was front and center. The Legacy 35 Signature Class and Greene Legacy Cohort embraced it fully, kicking off the day grounded in purpose. Brian Fraiser of RPM opened the retreat with a meaningful reminder of their founders’ philosophy, “The Value of 168” and how we choose to use our time.

A highlight of the day was the presentation of the joint class project: Leadership Medina County: A Strategic Review to Shape the Next Chapter. This nine-month effort - shaped by alumni insights, focused on ensuring LMC remains impactful, relevant, and sustainable for years to come.

A sincere thank you to the many alumni who contributed their time and perspective, especially the dedicated advisors who helped guide this work.

More to come soon! But one message is clear: the future of LMC is driven by a strong, engaged, and empowered alumni network.

Congratulations Cami! So proud of this Junior Leadership alum!

Congratulations Cami! So proud of this Junior Leadership alum!

Wadsworth’s own Cami Ross has been named a Medina County Top Scholar! In addition to this prestigious academic honor, Cami received the William J. Koran Inspiration Award. This unique recognition allows the county's top seniors to honor the educator who made the greatest impact on their journey. Cami chose to recognize her math teacher, Allison Parsons, for her unwavering support and inspiration.

The Top Scholar Awards Program was initiated by the ESC of Medina County in 2007 by then Superintendent William Koran as a way to honor the best and the brightest in Medina County. The program has evolved into an annual award where each school district submits a student who meets the criteria for the award and, in turn, the student award winner provides a nomination for a staff member who inspired them throughout their educational career. This year we honored those recipients at the 20th Annual Medina County Top Scholars Recognition Dinner held at the Medina County Career Center.
