The cozy vibes continued in Area 4, Harmony, Inc. at the Area 4 AC&C Chorus Finals. Eight amazing choruses took the stage, and the energy was absolutely electric.

Congratulations to chorus champions St. Louis Vocal Project who also walked away with Most Improved Chorus Award. The Nancy Stephenson Memorial Trophy for the highest scoring small chorus went to Bluegrass Harmony!

Packing their PJs for IC&C were four incredible choruses - St. Louis Vocal Project, Bluegrass Harmony, The Village Vocal Chords of Harmony Incorporated and Harmony Magic.

The scores are officially in from the 2026 Area 4 AC&C Quartet Finals. While everyone brought their comfiest pajama party vibes to the party, these quartets brought nothing but absolute fire to the stage.

Congratulations to Area 4 quartet champions Venture, who also scooped up the Kaleidoscope Entertainment Award with the highest performance score.

​They join five other quartets heading to Louisville - huge shoutout to official ICC Qualifiers: ​Venture, ​Blue Phoenix, Starlight Road, ​Sweet Addiction, ​Bourbon Town Sound and ​Straight Up.

Synergy is an Area 1 Harmony, Incorporated quartet made up of Sue Kember and Jenn Cleveland of the ScotianAires, and Adèle Merritt and Corinna Garriock of Valley Voices. In 2025, they won both the Area 1 Quartet Championship and the Harmony, Incorporated International Quartet Championship, earning the title of 2025 Harmony Queens.

Their victory marked a historic achievement for Canadian barbershop. Synergy is the first Canadian quartet to win international gold in 25 years and the first from Atlantic Canada in 32 years.

Formed in late 2024, Synergy brings together four experienced barbershop judges, music educators, and lifelong musicians with a shared passion for excellence in harmony singing. In their first contest, they achieved the highest quartet score ever recorded in Area 1 competition.

The quartet is proud to represent Harmony, Incorporated at the World Harmony Showcase and to share the music that brought international gold back to Atlantic Canada.

Today, the Harmony, Inc. family pauses to observe Memorial Day in the United States.

In Harmony, we know that the most beautiful music requires sacrifice, dedication, and a commitment to something greater than ourselves. Today, we let our voices fall silent in respect, keeping the memories of these fallen heroes alive in our hearts.

We're so excited for all of the dazzling choruses taking the stage today at Area 5 Harmony, Inc. AC&C - great job by all the contestants.

We're still amazed at all of the sparkling contestants at yesterday's Area 5 Harmony, Inc. quartet contest.

We also want to shout out the Mixed Barbershop Harmony Association quartets, especially Area 5 MHBA champion Sharp Attack. Both Unlikely Mix and Sharp Attack qualified for IC&C in Louisville. Congratulations to everyone!
