SUMMER STUDENT INTERNSHIPS:
In the month of August, we had the joy of hosting our first student interns. Amiyah and De’Andre said yes to our invitation to go through weekly leadership development and discipleship sessions, and also helping to lead our rising middle schoolers through special Impact Youth gatherings called Fun Fridays. We really enjoyed our time with them as we all learned how to be better leaders, and better followers of Jesus.💙

The Fun Fridays with our rising middle schoolers were really special too. We gathered for two Bible studies where we explored the Gospel and worked through a chapter of The Purple Book, one of the resources we use at Impact Youth. We also went into the community for two fun field trips: fishing at Engel Family Farms 🎣 and creating pinch pots at Make Creative Studio 🏺. These four weeks were so valuable in strengthening relationships between our middle schoolers, and preparing them for this Fall’s transition from Tuesday Hope Kids for elementary students to Wednesday Impact Youth for middle and high school students.

We look forward to hosting many more opportunities like the Summer Internship and Fun Fridays, where our amazing students get to build their character, encounter Christ, and grow closer to one another! 💙

8.05.2026 Thank You Tech for Troops 💖

One survivor was accepted to college, to study Psychology & Social Work. However, she did not have a laptop required for these online courses. Through the generosity of Tech for Troops, she was blessed to receive a laptop and begin this exciting endeavor!

Thank you Tech For Troops (T4T) for partnering with us to serve survivors of s*x trafficking/exploitation so they can move forward in their healing and journey of restoration and freedom.

July 29, 2026: Thank You, John Riad, and the Chick-Fil-A team for providing and serving delicious dinner for our Impact Youth Students. This CFA team from the Short Pump Town Center (.shortpumptc), made a personal delivery and joyfully served at our event. We appreciate your team caring for these amazing teens.

On Wednesday evenings, we get to serve Middle-Schoolers and High-Schoolers from Fulton Hill, Fairfield Court, and Mosby Court. Impact Youth is about making disciples, and helping them discover their God-given gifts & skills so they can positively change the world around them.

**We welcome other organizations to partner with us in serving these communities. Reach out to Leah ([email protected]) if you would like to serve a meal or volunteer in other capacities. **
