We have some spots available for our ADVANCED TRAINING so if you are interested, please email [email protected]. This is a FREE event offered to our current volunteers and anyone who might need this training. We are offering two time options: June 9 or June 10, 5 - 7 pm.

TRAINING: "From Chaos to Connection: Being a Safe Presence for the Most Vulnerable".
- This training will provide a more in-depth look at trauma-informed care and how we can be at our best when serving the children of our Just Love Initiative and the women of our Freedom Initiative.
- This interactive session will be highly beneficial as it goes deeper into practical application, helping our team learn how to regulate themselves in high-stress environments, build trust and emotional safety, de-escalate difficult situations, and become a calm, steady, and compassionate presence for those we serve.
- This training will be led by Jason Helmlinger with Frontside Counseling.
- Dinner is included.

☀️ We look forward to Sunday-Funday Kids Day Out hosted by Blake Kell and the Chick-Fil-A Family for our Hope Kids.

🙏🏾 We are hosting another Freedom Soul Care Prayer Service to pray over victims and survivors of s*x trafficking/exploitation in our city. This is an opportunity for our Freedom Teams to cast our cares, burdens, and heaviness to Jesus. *This is open to the general public who serve victims and survivors of trafficking & exploitation. 5.2.2026 Intercession & RVA Prayer Tour
SEATED IN HEAVENLY PLACES IN CHRIST

We believe in the POWER of PRAYER! We are extremely grateful for our volunteers who serve as Intercessors over all of our ministry endeavors.

Some of our Intercessors met for our quarterly prayer meeting for a time of equipping and training. Then this team loaded up in the bus for a driving prayer tour around target areas & communities of Richmond whom the Lord has entrusted us. It was a powerful time of worship, prayer, decrees, and declarations in the mighty name of Jesus!

4.28.26 Thank you, Hope Church Students, for pouring into some of our youth boys last week!

They learned a new game, played sports together in The Lodge, and were led through a thoughtful Bible study about building one’s foundation on the rock of Jesus. Thank you for showing our youth what it looks like to be men of great faith.

We look forward to seeing you again!

EASTER 4.11.2026 Cloverhill Church Youth Serve Day

Thank you Cloverhill Church Youth for spending the entire day generously serving our Hope Kids on April 11th!

The day began with Cloverhill Church sending a team of 25 youth and leaders out to Mosby Court to help host our regular Saturday morning SHINE. They showered many of our friends in Mosby with the love of Jesus through games, face painting, Bible reading, relay races, dancing, prayer, and snacks!

Then in the afternoon, Cloverhill Youth hosted 32 of our Hope Kids at their church.
Our students had a blast!
- Playing on their new playground
- Participating in an Easter VBS
- Worshipping and dancing
- Praying with the Cloverhill Youth

This turned out to be an amazing day of heaven invading earth, God being glorified, and many people encountering Christ. Thank you Cloverhill Church for blessing us and our kids in such a big way! We are so grateful!

For blessing the staff of RVA Hope Center for a much needed retreat at the Roslyn Retreat Center.
Thank you for this invitation . . . . . to be with the ONE WHO LOVES US THE MOST . . . to be still and to quiet our souls before God . . . to go deeper in communion with God
🩵 Not only did they gift our staff with this retreat, they blessed us with an amazing lunch!
🩵 Thank you, COMPASS CENTER FOR CHRISTIAN FORMATION & SOUL CARE, for this beautiful gift of sitting at the feet of Jesus, of casting our burdens & cares to God, and for a refilling, reset, and recharge from the well that sustains us.

3-21-2026 🌸 Hope Church Serve Day 🌸

On Saturday, March 21st, we had our inaugural event with , where they brought over thirty volunteers to serve our friends from the Mosby, Fairfield, and Creighton Court communities.

It was a beautiful and special day in the sun, playing games, making Easter crafts, dancing, enjoying food from the food truck, reading Bible stories, and getting to know each other better.

Each child was sent on a mission to complete seven out of ten fun activity centers, where the volunteers also led them through an Easter devotion, reading of a scripture, and prayer. At the end of the event, each child received special treats for accomplishing their goal.

Thank you Hope Church, for committing to partner with RVA Hope Center. Your presence makes a lasting impact on the children and families we serve, by helping to create positive memories that point them to Jesus. We enjoyed getting to know each one of you and look forward to serving with you again soon!
