Scouts from Pack 190 assisted the PA Fish and Boat Commission with their annual trout stocking at the Yellow Breeches this past Saturday.

Fishing season opens March 28 for mentored youth and April 4 for all!🐟🎣

Our scouts had the opportunity to travel to Philadelphia this past Saturday in commemoration of the nation’s 250th birthday! We visited Independence Hall and the Museum of the American Revolution. Special thanks to National Park Ranger Maggie for a great tour of Independence Hall and to Todd Heintzelman for organizing the trip!

Congratulations to our Arrow of Light crew as they “bridged” to the next level- and are officially BSA Scouts. The group each received their arrows, marking their accomplishments over the years. Onward and upward, kids! You’ll do great things!

Gentlemen (& Ladies)… START. YOUR…

… Pinewood Derby Preparations!

That’s right, folks. It’s (almost) time. Pinewood Derby Eve. Our Volunteers and Leaders are setting up the track, Scouts from Troop 190 have checked in the cars, and the Cub Scout cars are designed and sanded and painted and weighed down (but not more than 5.0 oz!!!). In other words, they’re ready! Are you?!

Scouting for Food Success! 🥫💙

Today, Cub Scout Pack 190 and Troop 190 (boys and girls) completed their Scouting for Food service project! After distributing flyers last week, our Scouts were back out today collecting donations from our generous community.

A huge thank-you to our sponsor, the Kiwanis Club, for providing refreshments, and to everyone who donated food! All collected items were sorted and delivered to Stop the Violence Ministry in Steelton, where they’ll help local families in need.

Scouts making a difference—one can at a time! 💪🌟
