Sporting Hill Elementary PTO The Sporting Hill PTO hosts a variety of events including holiday parties, free family activity nights, and of course our popular May Fair.

The PTO funds also ensure that all of our students have equal opportunities to learn and play throughout the school year, no matter their financial ability. The PTO covers the cost of all field trips for all of our students AND chaperones. We also provide all new students with a Bulldog T-Shirt, we pay for educational assemblies like Art VanGO! and the Mobile AgLab, and we help the Sporting Hill S

taff by providing them with extra funds for their classrooms. We are able to pay for these activities through a variety of parent and community supported fundraisers.

’Twas the night before May Fair, and all through the grounds,
Not a quiet voice lingered — there thundered great sounds.
The banners were strung on the fences with great care,
In hopes that tomorrow crowds soon would be there.

The children were buzzing upstairs in their beds,
While visions of funnel cakes danced in their heads.
With their May Fair tickets all laid out in stacks,
They dreamed of the rides and the games and the snacks.

It’s Teacher Appreciation Week and the PTO is spoiling the staff with a potato bar from Texas Roadhouse and a yummy lunch choice from Rubbin' Meats Backyard BBQ!
