Cousin Richard Marcus Lee entered this life on November 22, 1955, in Meadville, Pennsylvania.

He was the oldest son of John Collins Lee Jr. and Ella Mae Warner Lee.

Richard was a 1974 graduate of Meadville Area High School in Meadville, where he played football as a Meadville Bulldog. He was recruited to Slippery Rock College, now Slippery Rock University, to play football. Richard loved football and remained fond of his high school and college teammates. He later became a season-ticket holder for the Detroit Lions. He enjoyed watching sports of all kinds and was an avid fan of girls' basketball. He often followed standout male and female athletes from the high school level through their professional careers.

Music, sports, and his military career played important roles in Richard's life. As a child, he loved the military and played with toy soldiers; as an adult, he became a soldier.

Richard built a long and distinguished career in the United States Army. He entered the Army in 1980 and served over the course of nearly three decades through Active Duty, the National Guard, and the Army Reserve. His military career took him throughout the United States and overseas, including assignments in Germany and Panama. After leaving active duty in 1995 and returning to civilian construction work, Richard returned to military service following the September 11 attacks. He later deployed to Iraq, where he served in combat-zone convoy, transportation, and security operations in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Richard served two back-to-back tours in Iraq, choosing to extend his first tour rather than return home. During his career, he received numerous military awards and commendations in recognition of his service and performance. Richard retired from military service in December 2009 at the rank of Sergeant First Class. His service to his country remained one of the great sources of pride in his life.

Richard married the love of his life, Tracy Flennoy Lee, on January 2, 2013, becoming the first couple married by their Harper Woods judge that year. Those who knew Richard well knew how proudly and affectionately he spoke of his wife. Richard and Tracy enjoyed traveling, attending family gatherings, fine dining, and sporting events together. Pennsylvania remained an important part of Richard's life, while Michigan also became home.

Richard valued the relationships he built throughout his life. He maintained friendships dating back to his college years at Slippery Rock and enjoyed reconnecting with longtime friends at gatherings over the years. He valued his family, his many cousins, his fellow veterans, and friendships formed throughout the different chapters of his life.

Richard was a spiritual person and frequently recited meaningful quotes about healthy Christian living. He loved the National Association of the Church of God Campground in West Middlesex, Pennsylvania, also known as Mount Zion. His great-grandfather, James Christman, was one of the campground's founding members. Richard carried on a legacy of service and generosity there. He traditionally rented a golf cart to transport elderly attendees and others to services and loved the annual meeting, attending services, and spending time with family and friends at Mount Zion.

Richard joined Brown Chapel AME Church in Ypsilanti, Michigan, where he loved the services, the Mega Men, and his BCAME church family. When he was out of town, he faithfully watched Sunday services virtually and continued to send his offering.

Richard leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Tracy Flennoy Lee; his mother, Ella Mae Warner Lee; his sister, LaVerne Sommerville (Larry); his daughters, Jennifer Waldron (Harold) and Alexandra Dominguez; his grandsons, Isaiah, Issac, and Alonzo; his nephews, LeVar Sommerville (Michelle) and Loren Sommerville; his sister-in-law, Barbara Lee; his mother-in-law, Rudene Flennoy; his brothers- and sisters-in-law, Fletcher Flennoy (Regina), Kim Barnes, and Domekia Robson (Mark); along with nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, extended family members, fellow veterans, and many longtime friends.

Richard was preceded in death by his father, John Collins Lee Jr.; his younger brother, John Collins Lee III; his father-in-law, Fletcher Flennoy Sr.; and his brother-in-law, Cody Barnes. Richard shared a very close bond with his brother, John Collins Lee III, who passed away on May 15, 2026, and with his sister-in-law, Barbara Lee.

Richard took great pride in the things that shaped his life—his Meadville roots, football, music, the friendships he carried with him through the decades, his family, his faith, and his military career. He will be remembered for the stories he shared, the relationships he valued, his generosity toward others, and the pride he took in the life he had lived. Service to his country was not simply something Richard had done; it remained an important part of who he was.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 11, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Pleasantview Alliance Church, 16233 State Rt. 86, Saegertown. Family hour will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Richard's memory to the American Cancer Society Memorial Giving program or the Fisher House Foundation, which supports veterans, military members, and their families.

The 102nd Hunter Warner Robinson Family Reunion was held and a special shoutout should go out to Terae Singleton along with Damon Hunter. Damon paid for the rental of the park and along with Tammy Foster and everyone else in the photogragh who provided and cooked most of the food! Terae organized a game with the kids and was responsible for bringing the double dutch rope. She has my vote to be President of the Family and in charge of arranging the 103rd Hunter Warner Robinson Family Reunion that will be held on July 24, 2027.

I would like to apologize to each and everyone of you for my failure in the planning of this years Reunion.

Terae has suggested that we all come together in the very near future and perhaps do a ZOOM meeting to discuss all matters that need to be shared.

The Reunion was held and it was great to see everyone. Bobby "Peeps" Hunter (84 years old) came all the way from Seattle. The folks at the meeting said the Shady Brook Park will be the venue for next year.

We didn't get there until around 3:30 pm and we saw the kids and folks doing "Double Dutch Jump Roping" and having fun.

"We must do everything we can to build so we can bring everyone back to celebrate"

Good Day Family and Friends,
We hope that your day today has been the best you have ever had.

Today is July 21, 2026. We just wanted to remind everyone that the 102nd Hunter Warner Robinson Family Reunion is this coming Saturday on July 25, 2026.

The location is the Meadville Area Recreation Complex (MARC) at 800 Thurston Rd, Meadville, PA 16335. MARC is very easy to find. If you drive past Shady Brook Park on North Street and past the Dawg House (Meadville Area Senior High School). When North Street ends, turn right on Thurston Road. MARC is on the right about 1/4 mile down the road.

We are going to play some basketball, do a little swimming, play a little softball and throw some horseshoes. If you wish to bring any sports equipment, please do so. It's going to be a blast.

Some of you remember having the Reunion at Papa Hunters House on Alden Street under the big Oak Tree. There would be cars lined up and all the way down the street. Uncle Will Martin would bring his Old Fashioned Ice Cream Maker. Grandma Hunter would make her "World Famous Potato Salad and her Deep Dish Apple Pie" Aunt Myrtle Hunter would make her Succulent Fried Chicken and Uncle Joe Lomax would bring his "Smokin Ribs". The food was fantastic and companionship and fun was good and plentiful.

If you are bringing a dish, please let us know what you'd like to bring.

As we march to the Bicentennial 200th Hunter Warner Robinson Family Reunion, the family has always brought plenty of love and faith each and every year and we will do so this coming Saturday.

If you have any Suggestions, Comments or Questions, please feel free to call or text me directly at (470) 330-1704

We'll see you this weekend.

Hello Family and Friends,
These two women were a team with two of the greatest men, I have ever know.
On the left is Mrs. Audrey (Hunter) Eubanks. She is the wife of Dr. Eugene Eubanks, son of Uncle Nelson and Aunt Emily. They lived on Jefferson Street and on the right is Mrs. Norma Jean (Higgy) Foster. She is the wife of the Late Great Officer "Big" Johnny Foster, who was a legendary Police Officer with the Meadville Police Department.

Both of these women are legendary in their own rights. Both of these women were not only my cousins, they were my dearest friends and my confidants. Higgy would watch us for my Mother as we went going to and from Second District Elementary School and Audrey was my second Mother and gave me so much good advice.
They both are with all of our other Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, cousins and friends who have passed away but remain in our hearts and are a major part of our souls.

They never missed a Hunter Warner Robinson Family Reunion and they will be at the 102nd Reunion on Saturday July 25, 2026, in loving kindred spirit.

Good Day Family and Friends of the Family,

The 102nd Hunter Warner Robinson Family Reunion is scheduled to take place on July 25, 2026. The time is 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. The tradition continues.

The location is the Meadville Area Recreation Complex (MARC) at 800 Thurston Rd, Meadville, PA 16335. I spoke to Jerimiah at MARC and he is putting together a package for our review. We'll have final plans in a couple of weeks.

The activities will include the usage of the swimming pool, the basketball court for the renewal of the "Old Timers Basketball Game", Fun Time Games for the Children (Complete with Prizes) and the revival of the Family Softball Game and more.

I will bring my Zebra shirt and Fox-40 whistle and referee the game. This will be a game to include everybody, women and men playing together.

I spoke to my Oncologist, Dr. K and told her about this and said the decision is up to me but I will need to take precautions.

I have removed the restrictions on the Hunter Warner Robinson Family Reunion page so you comment, put up news about the family and any other positive correspondences pertaining to family matters (please post with respect)

If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, please feel free to contact me directly at (470) 330-1704

I spoke to my sister about this change and she has allowed me to conduct the reunion this year. We will hold an election to select new officers for the following year. Tammy Foster Milburn and others have agreed to help. If anyone is interested in helping, please contact me.

In the Highest Regards, I am,
