(2000)

Northwest Boxer Rescue is the largest nonprofit, volunteer-driven rescue serving the Pacific Northwest and Southern California. Our mission is simple: rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome Boxers in need while educating and supporting the people who love them. We take in unwanted, abandoned, and medically complex dogs—regardless of age, condition, or ease of placement—and give them the care they deserve. Every dog in our program receives veterinary treatment, is spayed or neutered, and is placed in a safe, loving foster home while they wait for the right forever family. We work hard to place each dog in a responsible, committed home and help adopters feel confident and prepared for the lifelong commitment of bringing a dog into their family. At the heart of it all, we believe every Boxer deserves safety, healing, and a second chance.

Our photo contest has officially wrapped! 🐾❤️⁣
⁣
The photos were great. The dog faces? Obviously 10/10.⁣
⁣
But your STORIES? You got us. 🥹⁣
⁣
From newly adopted pups just beginning their happily-ever-afters to Boxers living the good life and those forever loved in spirit, we loved reading your stories and getting a little glimpse into the lives of your very special dogs.⁣
⁣
Thank you for sharing your photos, rallying your people to vote, and showing up for NWBR and R&R Boxer Rescue. We’re so grateful you were part of this!⁣
⁣
Now, we’re putting all that Boxer magic into our 2027 Boxer calendar. And let’s just say… this isn’t your average rescue calendar. 😉🐾⁣
⁣
More soon!

Cooler days. Cozier nights. Coco on the couch. 🍂🤎⁣
⁣
Honestly, sounds like a pretty good setup.⁣
⁣
Coco is 10, wonderfully herself, good with other dogs, and has absolutely no interest in being treated like she’s fragile. She’s blind, but she gets around surprisingly well and figures things out faster than you might expect.⁣
⁣
A home without a lot of stairs? Ideal. Someone to share the couch with? Even better.⁣
⁣
Coco is ready for her next chapter. Could it be with you?⁣

Some people just show up. And sometimes, that changes everything. ❤️⁣
⁣
These two tiny Boxer girls were born with cleft palates, and from the very beginning, they needed a little more help than most puppies.⁣
⁣
That’s where Rainbow Heart Rescue came in.⁣
⁣
With experience tube feeding cleft palate puppies, they jumped in to help make sure these two were getting the nutrition they needed to grow.⁣
⁣
And friends… look at them now. 🥹⁣
⁣
Healthy. Vibrant. Growing. Absolutely thriving.⁣
⁣
Rainbow Heart Rescue — thank you for sharing your experience, stepping in when we needed you, and helping these two little girls get the strong start they deserve. ⁣
⁣
This is the kind of partnership that makes rescue better, and we’re so grateful to have you in our corner.⁣
⁣
The girls are now with their NWBR foster, where they’ll continue growing big and strong. 🐾

Meet Miles. Your new favorite good ol’ boy. 🐾⁣
⁣
At about 8 years old, Miles has officially entered his I’ve got nothing to prove and nowhere I need to be era.⁣
⁣
Puppy nonsense? Hard pass.⁣
A nice walk, some quality couch time, and his people nearby? Now we’re talking.⁣
⁣
Miles is the kind of guy who doesn’t need a 24/7 entertainment committee. He enjoys his walks, gets along beautifully with other dogs, and is perfectly happy just hanging out and being your loyal sidekick.⁣
⁣
Basically, if your ideal dog is chill, handsome, dog-friendly, and past the “what happens if I eat this?” phase of life… Miles would like a word.⁣

Meet Lady. Professional shadow dodger. Part-time explorer. Full-time sweetheart.
⁣
Lady is still figuring out this whole world isn’t so scary thing. New places? A little intimidating. Unexpected noises? Absolutely not. Her own shadow? Well, let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
⁣
Her wish list?⁣
🐾 A confident canine sibling to show her the ropes.⁣
💕 A quiet, patient family who understands that confidence isn’t built overnight.⁣
🌸 Lots of gentle encouragement, little victories, and room to grow at her own pace.⁣
⁣
Lady just needs someone who’ll give her the space to blossom. And watching that confidence grow? That’s the good stuff.

WELL, LOOK WHO’S GOING PLACES. 🐾⁣
⁣
Our newest rescue, Rocky. He’s got places to be, people to smooch, and apparently, kibble to supervise. 😉⁣
⁣
Today, Rocky met his volunteer transporter, handed out a proper welcome smooch, made sure his bag of groceries (priorities!) was loaded, and hopped right into the car.⁣
⁣
Next stop? His foster home!⁣
⁣
A new chapter and lots of Boxer love ahead.⁣
⁣
WELCOME TO Northwest Boxer Rescue, ROCKY! ❤️⁣
⁣
And a little shoutout to the amazing volunteers who make these journeys possible. We couldn’t do this without you!

Your pup has sniffed out a calendar-worthy photo.⁣
⁣
Now… have you submitted it yet? 📸⁣
⁣
We’re still looking for those ridiculously good Boxer pics for our 2027 calendar.⁣
⁣
Got one? Don’t let that masterpiece live exclusively in your camera roll. 😉⁣
