Rudy’s Rescue Established in 2019, Rudy's Rescue is a small 501(c)(3) Nonprofit, all-breed rescue group located in McLoud, OK.

Our focus is on senior dogs, senior hospice care, or medically challenged senior dogs.

On my way outside to go to the shed, Buster convinced me that if I let him go with me, he wouldn’t run off. You know… because he sticks to me like glue 24/7.
Buster doesn’t always tell the truth.
Luckily, he stops dead in his tracks when his name is called followed by STOP!😁 Apparently, he’s trustworthy with supervision.😊

Precious Daisy went to her final resting place today. Her little body was tired, and her symptoms of kidney failure worsened, affecting her quality of life.
We wish we could have had more time with this sweet girl. We’re so glad she found her way to us, even if it was only for a little while.

Now that Gizmo has found his new family, it’s time to find little Chase a home of his own.

Chase loves to be wherever you are. His favorite place to hang out is the back of the couch, curled up like a cat. He’s sweet, lovable, barky, and very obedient.
Chase lives life crate-free, knows how to use a doggie door, and does a three-legged jig when it’s mealtime. If you’ve ever wanted a friend who follows you from room to room, Chase is your guy. And if you don’t hear those little pitter-patter feet behind you, chances are Chase is napping. He does need a little extra help remembering to go outside to potty, and he prefers that you stay outside with him. I mean, who doesn’t like an audience when they’re doing their business? 🤷‍♀

🐾Please welcome Daisy to Rudy's!🐾

Today was moving day for 17-year-old Daisy, and she’s officially part of our crew. We’re not sure if that means she'll be here days, weeks, months, or even years, but we’re certainly hoping it’s for a long time! She comes with a few of the usual old-dog ailments, so we’ll be visiting the vet on Monday to see where she’s at health-wise and how we can keep her comfortable.
She’s already had quite the morning traveling to her new home, cruising the backyard, and meeting a few of our grouchy residents.
And don’t let that sweet face fool you. This girl has plenty of sass! ❤️ We’re just happy she’s here and gets to spend her time surrounded by love and comfort.
