Camp Mimanagish is located on National Forest - so forestry is part of our stewardship responsibility. Often we are tasked to take care of taking down dead standing and fallen trees.

While we were on a little break the Forest Service appeared and helped to clean up some dead timbers in the forest. Look at the beautiful work from Ben the master sawyer.

It’s really quite remarkable, if also a little loud.

Puzzles in the Full Moon Dining Hall are a wonderful way to enjoy the evening. Conversations are often lively with intermitant quiet focus as puzzlers puzzle out corners and sections and rest their minds while still in the company of friends.

The Welcome sign was a collaborative project by the Creative Arts Camp - Week 1 - This beautiful group brought the quiet, contemplative viewpoint of seeing Mimanagish the land around it through various mediums and lenses. It was lovely to have the Creative Arts Camp kick the 2026 season into gear. It is wonderful to see a robust art room full of supplies to spark the imagination.

Hello and Welcome to the 2026 crew at Camp Mimanagish - Our team includes: Justin Notni on Grounds, Repair and Maintenance. Curt Kruse - Volunteer Extrodinaire. Dilynn Wise as Kitchen MC and Head Cook and Colleen Rivers as Lead Kitchen Assistant and Baker of Baked Goods. Then there is me Renee Frances Conn - helping to hold the Mimanagish fort as Camp Director. We look forward to sharing this beautiful little corner of the universe with you.
