Hello Relations. We have a work weekend scheduled from May 22nd, 23rd and 24th.
Any help that can be offered will be greatly appreciated. We have a small work crew committed thus far. With a few more folks I think we can get a huge part of the work dialed in. We plan on camping on site and sending up a few prayers while there. Come join.

I never made a post about this powerful film I had the opportunity to watch. Sugarcane is a film about boarding school, and intergenerational traumas and relationships. It displays the long lasting effects of what was done to our people, and how that pain manifests in our native peoples. It was powerful. I am grateful for the filmmakers and all who were involved in the process of bringing this story to life. I appreciate everyone’s work to bring this film to Alaska, and the Anchorage museum and staff for hosting. If you ever have the chance to watch, support, or share this film please do! There’s so much information trapped in our elders minds heart, and in order to let it free and heal our family lines, we have to create safe spaces for them to speak honestly about their experiences and feelings about these terrible times. Consider what can you do to create a loving and supportive space for your elders.
