📚💛 The gift that keeps on giving!

This past weekend, we had the joy of replenishing Rising Sun Foundation & James Earl Acey Lodge #600 Little Free Libraries with so many wonderful books, all thanks to the incredible generosity of Denise from (Teacher Reuse Exchange)!

There’s something so special about seeing these little libraries filled and ready for the next reader to discover a new story, learn something new, or simply enjoy the magic of a good book.

Thank you, Denise, for helping us keep the pages turning and our Little Free Libraries full! 📚✨

Our very own Rising Sun Foundation member, shares why giving blood is deeply personal to her:

“Giving blood is personal for me. My sons and I live with Beta Thalassemia, a blood disorder that has shown me firsthand just how precious the gift of blood truly is.

In 2015, I needed a blood transfusion, and someone’s decision to give blood helped save my life. I will never forget that.

Every time you donate blood, you may be giving someone another birthday, another hug, another memory, another chance to live.

I can’t give blood, but you can give someone, maybe even me, another chance at life.”

Wait... where did the summer go?! 😩☀️

Just ONE week ago we were celebrating at our Back to School Bash, and now tomorrow our kiddos are heading back to the classroom! 📚✏️

We want to send another HUGE THANK YOU to Flawless Canvas Beauty & Body Bar for coming through just in time with even MORE bookbags for the kids! From what we're hearing, those character bags were niceeeee! 🤩

To all of our families—have an amazing first day back! We hope everyone has a safe, successful, and exciting school year.
