Welcome! My name is Wesley Brock. I am a 9 year Marine Corps Veteran. Right before Thanksgiving this year, we lost yet another brother to his own hand. For me, that is the 10th brother I have known that has taken their own life. Su***de in the veteran community is an epidemic as we all know. My goal in creating this page is to give us all a strong support network and connect us with other veterans close by. Recently, I was fortunate enough to go on an all veterans hunting trip and it brought back that sense of camaraderie. I also celebrated the Marine Corps birthday this year with a large group of fellow Marines. Both of those days really gave me that feeling of brotherhood we all miss from being in. At both events, I met multiple other veterans I still keep in touch with. I would be thrilled if that is something we could help eachother all feel again more often. With those events in mind, I would like to put together a Veterans gathering once a month here in Henry County. Whether that be at a lake for a fishing day, a gun range for a shooting day, or a simply a County Park for a cookout. Just something to bring all of us together once a month. I hope this page reaches a lot of Veterans. I hope we can grow this to a point where we take over a park for a day! Families will be welcome!
