Last week, we attended the Ohio TASC Conference, put together by Ohio TASC Association, alongside other TASC program staff members throughout Ohio! 🤩
Following the discontinuation of the National TASC Conference, this is the first TASC-related conference to form after years of talks and planning.
Staff members from TASC of Southeast Ohio really showed up to represent us well, and to say we’re proud of our staff would be an understatement. 🙌👏
📋 Stephen K. Thomas (CEO), Darla Merola (Deputy CEO), Kelsey Kerr (Marketing Specialist), and Kelly Gallagan (PI Officer) worked with directors across Ohio to help with the planning and ex*****on of the conference.
🎤 Stephen K. Thomas led the conference by presenting the “History of TASC” and the “TASC Critical Elements” alongside OTA’s president, Ken Becker.
🤗 Justin Saunders (GJM Clinical Supervisor) presented “Protecting the Provider: Managing Stress, Burnout, and Secondary Trauma,” which involved some fun exercises that utilized techniques like laughter yoga!
🤝 Jessica Lloyd (Trainer) presented “Recognizing and Responding to Client Manipulation: Ethical, Person-Centered Strategies for Clinicians,” and was a superstar for being flexible with her presentation time to keep things running smoothly. 🏆
❤️🩹 Natalie Hoffman (Athens clinician) and Chris Levandofsky (Vinton clinician) braved the podium to share their emotional and powerful testimonies of recovery to coming out the other side as clinicians who help people in the positions they were once in.
What an amazing crew we have and we’re so grateful to have been able to share this TASC milestone with our wonderful staff members and we applaud all of their hard work and contributions to this conference. 🙏💖
