Transitional housing is available for victims of domestic violence and survivors of sexual assault for up to 18 months. Supportive services may include case management, life skills development, GED/ESL classes, and community referrals to help individuals and families move toward stability and independence.

La vivienda transitoria está disponible para víctimas de violencia doméstica y sobrevivientes de asalto sexual por hasta 18 meses. Los servicios de apoyo pueden incluir manejo de casos, desarrollo de habilidades para la vida, clases de GED/ESL y referencias comunitarias para ayudar a las personas y familias a avanzar hacia la estabilidad y la independencia.

💜 One Mission. A Future Free From Violence.

Today, Mujeres Unidas had the honor of joining the Hidalgo County District Attorney’s Office, the City of Mission, and the City of Alton in recognizing October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Building safer communities takes all of us. Through continued collaboration between law enforcement, local agencies, community leaders, and organizations, we can raise awareness, strengthen support for survivors, and work toward a future free from violence.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each organization for standing with survivors and recognizing the importance of coming together to create lasting change. 💜
