♟️ “Life’s like a game of chess… every move matters.”

Steve and Ryan spent their 1st “BiG” Day building more than strategy skills — they spent time talking about trusting God’s direction for every step in life.

Together they reflected on Proverbs 3:5-6:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding…”

Just like in chess, we don’t always see every move ahead… but God does. When we trust Him instead of relying only on ourselves, He helps guide our path and shape our future one move at a time. ❤️

Back in April during our BiG Ministry Popcorn Fundraiser, Ellie and Melanie earned 3rd place and recently got to enjoy their special prize — target practice with local law enforcement officers who generously donated their time to invest into one of our mentor/mentee teams!

At first, Ellie was a little timid and nervous, but Sargent Kious and Deputy Pitts patiently walked her through every step, encouraged her, and helped build her confidence. By the end, she was smiling, brave, and actually did incredibly well!

Moments like this are what BiG Ministry is all about — building confidence, creating memories, and surrounding kids with positive adults who believe in them.

A huge THANK YOU to Sargent Kious and Deputy Pitts for pouring into the next generation and making this experience so special for Ellie and Melanie!

As the Grand Prize Winners of the April BiG Ministry Popcorn Fundraiser, Sienna and her mentee, Emma had the incredible opportunity to enjoy a private flight with a local pilot! From takeoff to landing, they shared an adventure filled with excitement, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Experiences like these are about more than just prizes—they create meaningful moments, strengthen relationships, and remind our kids that they are valued and loved. A huge thank you to our generous local pilot and everyone who supported our fundraiser and helped make opportunities like this possible!
