👨‍⚕️ Men’s Health Month: Prevention Saves Lives 👨‍⚕️

June is Men’s Health Month—a time to focus on prevention, early intervention, and overall wellness.

Men are often less likely to seek medical care or talk about health concerns, including substance use. But prevention starts with awareness and action. Routine checkups, honest conversations with providers, and early support can reduce risks before they become crises.

Substance misuse does not happen in isolation—it often connects to stress, untreated health issues, and lack of support.

💙 Taking care of your health is one of the strongest choices you can make.

💊♻️ Safe Medication Disposal – Every Day Matters ♻️💊

Did you know you don’t have to wait for a special event to safely dispose of medications? You can protect your home and community all year long!

📍 Use a Medication Drop Box:
Safely dispose of expired, unused, or unwanted medications at your local drop box locations.

🟢 Use Deterra Bags at Home:
No time to stop by? Deterra bags make it easy to safely deactivate medications right at home—just add water, seal, and throw away.

Proper disposal helps prevent misuse, accidental poisoning, and keeps medications out of our water supply. 💙

Take a few minutes this month to clean out your medicine cabinet—it makes a big difference!
