How to brighten up a winter's day:
Make plans to join the Moss Foundation for our annual dinner!
This year's event is being held July 11th at Valley Mills Farm in Swoope, VA. Located on the Middle River in Swoope, Virginia, (near Staunton) this idyllic setting provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy music and have dinner with your Moss friends while supporting children's educational opportunity programs offered by the Moss Foundation.
Our evening together begins with a Happy Hour from 5:30pm to 6:45pm featuring wines from our friends at Barren Ridge Vineyards.
We are delighted to welcome back the Willie Hayes Trio for an evening of light jazz and familiar favorites.
Dinner is being catered by Take Out 250. Take a look at the menu Pam has put together for us!
Pear and Strawberry salad, Sour Cream Cheddar Chicken, Stuffed Portabella, Whipped Potatoes, Country Green Beans with Ham. Dessert. Beer, Iced Tea and Lemonade.
A silent auction of unique Moss artwork will be held throughout the evening. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the P Buckley Moss Endowed Scholarship, and Teacher Grant funds.
Each attendee will receive a gift print provided by P Buckley Moss Artist

Introducing the 2026 Moss Foundation Quilt! Created by Jeannine McNeill and Linda Gorman, this beautiful art quilt measures 26" x 26." The centerpiece is a P Buckley Moss original featuring her favorite tractor. Tickets are now available for purchase through the Moss Foundation office at 800-430-1320, or email: [email protected].
Proceeds to benefit Teachers Grant program. Tickets $3 each, or 2 for $5.

⭐The drawing for the beautiful 2025 Moss Foundation Raffle Quilt is this weekend! Last minute tickets may still be purchased by calling the Moss Distribution Center this weekend at 800-430-1320. Our hours are Friday and Saturday from 10 am until 4 pm, Sunday noon 'til 4 pm, Eastern.
❤️You won't want to miss out on an opportunity to have this lovely quilt and to do a good deed at the same time. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Teacher Grant and Scholarship programs.

Look for our booth this weekend at the Fall Foliage Festival in Waynesboro, Virginia! We'll be in front of the P Buckley Moss Gallery Waynesboro Saturday Oct 11th, and Sunday the 12th, sharing our latest art project with children of all ages. Chef Paté will be there to oversee the festivities. Join us!

What a wonderful time all of our artists had making their chef's hats at Mathews Market Days celebration! A special thank you to Natalie McD whose help made our booth such a success.
Our next art booth will be October 11th and 12th in Waynesboro, Virginia at the Shenandoah Valley Art Center Fall Foliage Festival.

Join us at the Mathews Market Days festival this weekend for an artistic adventure! This year's art booth theme is "Life is what you bake it." Children of all ages will be creating their personal chef hat to take home and wear.
You'll find us in the Mathews historic courthouse area. The dates are Friday, Sept 5th and Saturday the 6th, 9am until 5 pm. See you soon!

The 2025 Moss Foundation Raffle Quilt is on the road again! Look for it at the Moss Galleries booth this coming weekend (Aug 1-2) in Blacksburg, Virginia at the Steppin' Out Festival. Proceeds from the raffle benefit the Moss Foundation Teacher Grant and Scholarship programs. This year's quilt was created and donated by Lori Hein and Karean Derby. In the center is a P Buckley Moss original drawing. Tickets are $3 each, or 2 for $5. See you there!

Art integrated into any subject provides an additional teaching tool. Teachers wishing to utilize this valuable resource are encouraged to apply for a Moss Foundation Teacher Grant. Our grants provide up to $1,000 for art supplies to implement your program. Art into learning also helps reach students who learn differently by providing an opportunity for expression and building of self confidence. Here's a link to get you started.

What a wonderful evening for the Moss Foundation Dinner Valley Mills Farm! If you missed it, don't worry, next year's dinner has been tentatively scheduled for July 11, 2026. Fine cuisine was provided by Pam and her staff at Take Out 250. The delightful tunes throughout the evening were provided by the Willie Hayes Trio. Great friends gathered in support of a great cause- which is providing educational opportunities for students of all learning levels through the integration of art into studies. We are so excited to tell you that all of the auction items sold, and funding for next year's teachers grants are covered. Thank you Moss friends, Society members, Moss dealers for your enduring support!

Open the doors to learning for all students through the incorporation of art! We can help. The application period is now open until September 30th for the Moss Foundation Teacher Grants. Awarded annually, this grant provides up to $1,000 for the purchase of art supplies for schools whose programs integrate visual arts into any phase of learning.
