Room Parents are the behind-the-scenes magic makers of the school year 💛

From organizing collections and coordinating class parties to making sure every celebration feels special, they give their time, energy, creativity, and care to support both students and teachers. Many also step in quietly with extra help, thoughtful gestures, and countless little things that make a big difference.

Thank you to all of our Room Parents for helping create joyful memories and making classrooms feel even more connected and supported throughout the year. We appreciate you more than words can say!

Today was the 2nd Grade End of the Year Celebration organized by Mrs. Bowser! It is a special event to send off our 2nd graders, while reflecting on their time here at MECC. A portion is giving something back to our school, thanking staff who have impacted them, and doing something for our bus drivers at the end of the day. There were also fun parachute activities and inflatables in the gym to celebrate time between teachers & students. The PTO funded the blow ups and the Teacher Academy Volunteers provided a helping hand!

These educational toy bins are more than just a fun break — they’re an opportunity for students to recharge, make choices, and continue stretching their brains in new ways. As you may know, MECC PTO funds a yearly in-school field trip for every grade. Last month our kindergartener’s were treated to an amazing one-woman show of Henny Penny, brought to them by the Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati. They even got to see Mrs. Jones, their beloved music teacher, in action! What a treat!
