Welcome to the new TSRA Hill Country Chapter page. I hope to use this site (and email) to get the word out to members on meeting dates and times, as well as notifications on other events in the area.
I will be reposting the invitation/flyer to join the TSRA (and our new Chapter) here on the page. You’ll notice that I also included a “sign up” button on the page so you can just click there to sign up and become a member. If you do sign up, remember to select Austin Skero in the “referred by” section so your membership can be tracked back to our new chapter. If you are already a member, message me here (or email me) with your full name, membership number, and county of residence. This way I can make a note that you are a founding member. Anyone who is signed up before we submit our charter will be listed as a founding member. We already have about 12 new or existing members that will be shown as founding members.
Remember, while our service area will be the Mason, McCulloch, Menard, and Kimble county area, any TSRA member can be a part of any chapter. So, if you have friends or family from outside the area, who want to be members, and if they want to have a chapter home with us, please let them know.
I plan on setting up an in-person organizational meeting after the election. At this meeting, we will sign up anyone who comes and wants to be a member. So bring your friends when we get it scheduled. We will also elect our first officers and decide on how we would like to organize and run our new chapter. We will also sign and submit our chapter application (a formality) once we have elected officers that can sign it.
This first meeting will likely be in Mason, but I hope that we can agree to have future meetings rotate through the 4-county area. I hope to see a lot of folks at the first meeting. We are only the third location in Texas that has been authorized to set up a local chapter. I’m looking forward to growing the chapter, doing good things in our 4-county area, and growing membership for TSRA. The more members we have, the stronger our voice is in support of our constitutional rights.
Regards,
Austin Skero
