Come join us at the iSPACE Teen Science Cafe and learn about Neuroscience!

Calling all STEM-interested teens! The first Teen Science Cafe of the year is THIS MONDAY Dec 8 at 6 pm at iSPACE! The topic is neuroscience! Have you ever wanted to examine a real brain? Now is your chance! Follow the QR code to register or go to ispcestem.org and look under the events tab. Oh, year, there will be snacks, too.

Teen Science Cafés are designed for teens by teens. This series of programs bring teens together in an informal setting to learn about science, technology and explore STEM careers. Join local experts and participate in these free, fun, interactive activities!

Cafés occur from 6pm to 7:30pm on selected Mondays throughout the school year. Each café includes a presentation from a local STEM professional, an interactive activity relating to the discussion, a Q&A session, and time to meet other teens that enjoy science.

Thank you iSPACE for another amazing event. Thank you all our amazing volunteers!! Riya and Dhanvi who helped us with the engineering challenge stations, FIRST LEGO League team, Cyborg Rangers who helped with a programming workshop and Robot demos, FIRST Tech Challenge teams Quantum Leap and Interstellar Robotics who showcased their robots and provided the opportunity for hundreds of kids to explore robotics.

REMINDER: the program is tomorrow Sept 10! Coaches, you can still register your team to attend.

iSPACE is hosting a UNEARTHED Kick-Off for all FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge teams on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 6:00-8:00pm at iSPACE in Evendale.

Coaches, bring your FLL Challenge teams to iSPACE and let head referees and FLL experts help you kick your season into high gear. See examples of award-winning presentations from veteran teams and hear from our guest speaker, Gary Motz. Mr. Motz has visited archeological sites around the world and is currently the Head of Computer Systems at Yale University, focusing on collections management and technology for the Yale Peabody Museum. Also, check out the new UNEARTHED Robot Game board, missions, and rules with our head referee.

At least one adult must remain with all team members for supervision. This event is FREE, but coaches must RSVP and let us know how many team members and other adults associated with their team will be attending.

Volunteers interested in mentoring FLL Challenge teams and helping with events are welcome to attend.
