Today was another incredibly meaningful day for the Jyan Waespe Memorial Foundation. ❤️

We had the privilege of sharing Jyan’s story with the Great Oaks Education Foundation and presenting a $20,000 donation to support 20 graduating students from the automotive programs across all four Great Oaks campuses - $1,000 for each student as they take their first steps into careers doing something Jyan loved so much.

Every time we tell his story, we get to keep a piece of him moving forward. And every student we’re able to support gives Jyan’s life and legacy an opportunity to make an impact far beyond the years we were blessed to have him.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supports the Jyan Waespe Memorial Foundation and our Car & Bike Show. This is what your support makes possible. ❤️

Jyan loved working on cars. Now, in his memory, we get to help the next generation build careers doing the same. 🖤🏁

Today, we had the privilege of telling Jyan’s story and presenting a $5,000 donation from The Jyan Waespe Memorial Foundation to Friends of Butler Tech, funding five $1,000 scholarships for students graduating from Butler Tech’s Automotive programs in 2027.

Jyan had a passion for the automotive industry, and it’s an incredible honor to see his legacy helping students who share that same passion as they begin their careers.

Thank you to Friends of Butler Tech and Butler Tech for partnering with us to invest in the next generation of automotive professionals. We hope these scholarships provide encouragement, opportunity, and a reminder that someone believes in their future. ❤️

Tonight, at the Warren County Career Center Board Meeting, we had the privilege of sharing our oldest son Jyan’s story and how we continue to honor his memory through The Jyan Waespe Memorial Foundation Car Show.

We were incredibly honored to present a $5,000 scholarship donation to benefit graduating students in the Automotive programs. It is our hope that this support helps these students as they begin careers doing what Jyan loved most.

Thank you again to every one of our event sponsors, every participant, every volunteer, every business and every person who donated. You all helped make this possible.

Every scholarship awarded is a reminder that Jyan’s passion, kindness, and legacy continue to make a difference in the lives of others. ❤️

What started as a way to honor Jyan’s memory has grown into something bigger than we ever imagined. ❤️

Because of the incredible support from our sponsors, vendors, volunteers, attendees, donors, and everyone who helped make the 2026 Jyan Waespe Memorial Car & Bike Show a success, we are proud to announce a total of $30,000 in scholarship donations to students in local automotive programs:

🏁 $20,000 — Great Oaks Education Foundation
🏁 $5,000 — Warren County Career Center
🏁 $5,000 — Butler Tech

Our car show is the single largest fundraiser we hold each year, and these donations will directly support students pursuing careers in automotive service... the same passion Jyan had. These donations will be made on specific dates in the near future!

Originally, our goal was simply to provide scholarships through the Great Oaks Foundation. But thanks to the overwhelming generosity surrounding this year’s event, we realized we had the opportunity to expand our impact without reducing the support already planned for Great Oaks. Being able to now support students across multiple local automotive programs and begin expanding our reach across the tri-state area is something we are incredibly proud of.

Jyan would be amazed to see the impact being made in his memory. 💗

Volunteer applications are officially open for the 2027 Jyan Waespe Memorial Car & Bike Show.

What started as a memorial for Jyan has become something far bigger than any of us imagined. Thousands of attendees, incredible vehicles, industry leaders, families, businesses, and enthusiasts all coming together for a cause that truly matters.

We're looking for dedicated volunteers who want to be part of building one of the Midwest's premier automotive events while helping support scholarships, opportunities, and the next generation of trades and automotive professionals.

Whether you're helping with event setup, vehicle staging, registration, guest assistance, logistics, operations, or behind-the-scenes coordination, every volunteer plays a role in making the experience unforgettable.
