New this year:

We have developed a First Aid station inside the firehouse. With rising temperatures this weekend, we encourage everyone to stay hydrated! Incase of an emergency, or during the development of an emergency, we are here for you. We ask that if you feel you are getting too hot or dehydrated, please find your way to the front door of the fire house for assistance. In the event there is an emergency inside the park, all fire department personnel will be wearing bright blue t-shirts, or you can dial 911. We have 2 ambulances on staff for emergencies both on the homecoming grounds and in the community.

Changes this year:

As we know, the homecoming is put on by the fire department. With that being said, we still answer to emergencies during homecoming hours. In years past homecoming attendees have found themselves loitering around on the apparatus pad on the north side of the station and blocking the bay doors. This year the pad has been roped off for safety. We ask that you please respect the boundary established to allow safe exiting and entering of emergency vehicles.

Parking:

Our friends at Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church have been generous enough to allow attendees free parking on their lot. We ask that everyone who utilizes their parking space to please take their vehicle home with them at the end of the night. Parking at MPHC will be prohibited on Saturday until 4PM for mass. Violators will be towed at the owners expense. Help us keep a good relationship with our neighbors for future homecomings!

Reminders:

As a reminder, the Maryville Village Fire Department and Maryville Police Department - Illinois are here for you and your safety. We encourage all attendees to always be aware of their surroundings and make sure to secure all personal items in vehicles out of site, and lock your doors. If you see ANYTHING, no matter how big or small, if it raises any concern to you, please do not hesitate to approach any police officer, or call 911. Officers are here for your safety, and will investigate any reports of suspicious activity. Paramedics are also here for you if needed. Please do not hesitate to seek treatment at the dedicated first aid station inside the fire house. If further medical evaluation or treatment is required, arrangements for transportation to a medical facility of your choice (depending on circumstances) within a reasonable distance will be arranged. We hope everyone has a great time this weekend, and remember to stay hydrated!

Any further questions can be addressed in the comment section or private message!

Thank You!

Happy 4th of July everyone! As we all know, the 4th of July weekend signals one more week till the Maryville Homecoming! With that being said we bring you your 4th and final ! Today we feature Saturday nights main event! Shotgun Creek Band!!!!

Shotgun Creek is a St. Louis Metro Area based Country Music recording band.
When people think of Shotgun Creek...they think of a high energy country music concert, with a tasteful rock n roll edge.

Night after night, Shotgun Creek brings you their brand of country music by playing well known hits that span 5 decades of Nashville royalty!

Touring the Midwest Region since 2014, Shotgun Creek has worked harder
and smarter by building their fan base one by one before, during and after each of their shows.

Approachable and eager to make new fans are easily some of the key factors on why they are quickly becoming THE premier country band in the St. Louis Metro region. Then, throw in
great renditions of those country classics and future classics, and you have had a full night of entertainment.

With two Singles on the Spotify/Apple Music platforms, “Ol’ Brown Tequila” in 2021 and "Indiana" in 2023, Shotgun Creek is always
Writing and recording new material.

To date, Shotgun Creek has opened for acts such as Wynonna, Dwight Yoakam, Frankie Ballard & Cassadee Pope.
In addition to those events, Shotgun Creek has served as the backing band for recording artist Bryan White, as well as Brady Seals, formerly of Little Texas.

Those Two are a duo playing around the Madison County area for about two years. They met as coworkers, and became really good friends because of music.

Since then they have built up a solid song list close to 100-150 songs, playing anything from the 50’s to today’s hits!
