We have it on good authority that the Jolly Old Elf himself will be stopping in to drop of food donations and do a little holiday shopping of his own.

We won’t stop, until a cure is found.

Cancer doesn’t sleep, and neither will we. This was the message of Dr. Gordy Klatt, the founder of The American Cancer Society’s premier fundraising event “Relay For Life”. He started by just sharing with his friends and family he wanted to walk 24 hours around the track of PLU to raise money and awareness for The American Cancer Society. Dr. Klatt raised $27,000 that day ... now, the event spans over 18 countries and brings in over $4.8 Billion dollars a year!

Many of us in the area have been affected by cancer in one way or another, and sought Relay For Life out as an outlet to show support - bring awareness - and FIGHT BACK against cancer.

Volunteers from The East Snohomish County Relay For Life, The Stilly Valley Relay For Life, and The Marysville/Tulalip Relay For Life were told that a partnership was being formed for the 2017-2018 year. There were many emotions for us, as long-time volunteers to our event we were uncertain on what would come.

What we couldn’t imagine, is the SUPPORT and LOVE we felt from our communities by joining forces and delivering a BETTER experience. By the conclusion of our event in July, our event had raised over $103,000 towards much needed funding. Funding that will support national research, as well provide support on a local level (wigs for cancer patients, rides for those who can’t get to their appointments otherwise, and much more).
