It may be summer ☀️ but the Northwood Elementary PTO takes no breaks! 📝

We had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Langhals this evening to discuss ideas on how we can improve our playground, all thanks to the success of our Northwood Neon Run! ✨️

Speaking of playground updates 👀
We will be looking for artistic volunteers who would be available the last weekend of July, or the first weekend of August to help us paint new blacktop games on the playground!

We are opening up orders for this shirt style and color options that will say "PTO CREW" on them! 🏫

Pre-ordering starts now and will end on June 14th! No payment is required up front, but you can place your order request via our Zeffy site here: https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/pto-crew-t-shirt

Pricing is determined by the TOTAL number of tee shirts we recieve as pre-orders, and we will reach out to let you know the final cost when pre orders close.

1-5 tees: $25 each
6-11: $22 each
12-23: $18 each **currently priced here with pre-orders**
24+: $14 each

Tee shirts will be Comfort Colors brand!

It's almost time! 🎉 Our FREE Summer Lunch program begins next Monday, June 1. Join us from 12-12:45pm for a free meal for anyone ages 18 and under. 🍎 After lunch, stick around for some awesome special events! We'll be kicking things off with a ✨magical✨ show put on by The Alans - Magic Duo.

Last night, the board of education recognized the PTO's within our school district and presented an award to the board presidents.

President Christina Shockey spoke about the success of our Make A Mascot events, as well as our first Northwood Neon Run, while Secretary Sara Brooks touched on our successful First Fridays as a way we show appreciation to our staff members and teachers all school year long.

This year would have not been possible without the support and guidance of our principal, Mr. Langhals! We are extremely grateful and appreciative of his dedication to the PTO and we look forward to continuing our work alongside him next school year!

It's the last day of school for Northwood students, and the last day at Northwood for our 4th graders (insert all the emotional feelings here!!).

The Northwood Elementary PTO not only wants to send our best wishes to our graduating 4th graders and their families, but, we also want to share our gratitude and appreciation to our parent volunteers who stayed at the school until 8pm last night to make sure this was set up and ready for today! I know we say this a lot, but we would not be able to host all of these special events and activities without the help of our beloved volunteers.
