Crazy For Animals Cottages Non-Profit Rescue Non-profit animal rescue being developed to provide housing, become service dogs and ESA's, and housing for pets during domestic violence situations.

We would like to introduce ourselves and provide some information regarding our non-profit that we are currently developing here in Michigan. My mom and I have always been avid animal supporters and advocates. We are a military family and both social workers. I have practiced mental health with youth and families utilizing canine-assisted therapy and have seen the power of the human animal bond. O

ur short term goals:
- Provide house animals without homes and animals that are
difficult to re-home
- Provide training to certain animals to become service dogs
and emotional support animals for those in need of these
services in the community
Long term goals:
- Housing for fur babies of deployed service members
- Canine assisted therapy and other modalities of therapy
- Provide shelter for pets of individuals escaping domestic
violence situations. We are collaborating with other mental health professionals, others in the animal rescue community, trainers, and community volunteers and members currently to make our vision into a reality.
