Some mothers carry a love that never leaves… even when their child is no longer here.

Keeping Communities Fed (KCF Nonprofit) is honoring 25 mothers who have experienced the loss of a child this Mother’s Day with a moment of care, softness, and support.

Through The Love That Remains, each selected mother will receive a curated gift or experience, thoughtfully selected to pour into her in a meaningful way.

Experiences may include:
✨ Paint & sip experiences
✨ Cake decorating classes
✨ Self-care services
✨ Dining experiences
✨ Curated gifts & more

This initiative is deeply personal to me—created from a place of love, loss, and the understanding that these mothers deserve to be seen, held, and poured into.

If you know a mother who deserves this… or if that mother is you:

Dasani’s Promise 💜🕊️

This September 2026, I will be hosting the You Are Not Alone Walk in honor of my son, Dasani.

This isn’t just a walk… this is a promise.
A promise to speak the things we were once silent about.
A promise to create safe spaces for healing.
A promise to remind every person fighting silently… that you are not alone.

This walk is bigger than one city.
Wherever you are—your city, your state—you can walk with us.
Together, we will stand in love, in remembrance, and in hope.

More information is coming soon… but for now, just know this is for you too.

In honor of Dasani.
For every life still fighting đź’ś

VOICES N’ VIBES: Community Conversations

WHY I CREATED THIS

I didn’t curate this event just because it sounded good.
I created it because I know what it feels like to carry things in silence.

I know what it feels like to be strong for everyone else while trying to hold yourself together. I know what grief feels like. And after losing my son, I learned firsthand how heavy silence can become when you don’t have safe spaces to process pain out loud.

There were moments when I showed up for the world while quietly navigating heartbreak. Moments where I understood how easy it is to say “I’m okay” when you’re really not.

That experience changed me. It deepened me. And it made me realize how many of us are walking around holding things we were never meant to carry alone.

That’s why I’m curating Voices N’ Vibes: Community Conversations.

This isn’t just a panel. It’s a space.
A space for real stories. Real dialogue. Real connection.
A space where mental health isn’t whispered about — it’s spoken about openly.
Where we normalize not being okay.
Where strength and vulnerability can exist in the same room.

You can expect honest conversation, lived experiences, reflection, community energy, and a safe environment where people can listen, share, or simply be present without judgment.

And this is only the beginning.

Voices N’ Vibes will be happening in different locations throughout the DMV. My vision is to bring these conversations into multiple communities — because healing shouldn’t be limited to one zip code, and access to safe dialogue shouldn’t be rare.

We deserve accessible spaces to talk about mental health.
We deserve community-centered conversations.
We deserve support that feels relatable.

💗 October is more than just pink ribbons—it’s a reminder of strength, resilience, and unity. Breast cancer touches so many lives, and every day is a chance to honor the fighters, celebrate the survivors, and remember the loved ones we’ve lost.

Wearing pink isn’t just a color choice—it’s a statement of support, a symbol of hope, and a promise that we stand together in the fight. Awareness saves lives, early detection saves lives, and love carries us through the journey.

Let’s spread knowledge, uplift one another, and never stop fighting for a cure. 💕

📚 Start Early, Stay Ahead!

Teaching your baby to read isn’t just adorable — it’s powerful. Early exposure to books and language helps build vocabulary, strengthens brain development, and sets the foundation for lifelong learning. Even a few minutes a day of reading aloud can spark curiosity, imagination, and a love for learning that lasts a lifetime.

👶✨ Tip: Point to pictures, name objects, and make it interactive — every word matters!

Early literacy is more than reading — it’s building confident, curious kids ready to thrive. Let’s give our little ones the gift of words! 💛- The KCF Nonprofit Organization
