Today, MeCAP hosted a Community Advisory Board (CAB) meeting, bringing together researchers and community members to discuss our most recent exposure study results and how to best share this information with the public.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who dedicated their time to participate in today’s discussion. Your commitment to this project and your desire to better understand how long-term exposure to PCE may be affecting our community are invaluable. The thoughtful feedback and diverse perspectives shared today will help ensure our findings are communicated in a way that is accurate, meaningful, and accessible to the residents we serve.

A special thank you to the MSD of Martinsville and Charles L. Smith Fine Arts Academy for generously allowing us to use the library for today’s meeting. We truly appreciate your support of this important community effort.

Together, we are taking another important step toward advancing research, increasing awareness, and improving the health of our community. Thank you for being part of this journey.
