Congratulations to EPSAR members Laurie, Angie, David, Donna, Loren, Randy, Sarah, and Erin on earning their National SARTECH I certification after successfully completing the Advanced Search and Rescue (ADSAR) course over the past two weekends.
The ADSAR course provides advanced, hands-on training in essential search and rescue skills, including night search operations, rope safety techniques, patient evacuation using both standard and improvised litters, navigation and GPS proficiency, and teamwork in a field environment. Along the way, participants also enjoyed the camaraderie that comes with training together.
We would also like to extend our sincere congratulations and thanks to our fellow comrades in training—Melissa, Larry, Dustin, and David. We truly enjoyed learning alongside you, learning from your experiences, and building new friendships throughout the course. We look forward to working together on future missions and continuing to support one another in the search and rescue community.
A heartfelt thank you to Bob and Donna Ruzewski for making this an incredible learning experience. As always, you never disappoint! Your knowledge, passion, and dedication to teaching are evident in every aspect of the course, and we look forward to attending more classes with you in the future.
We also want to sincerely thank Jeff Cunningham, Emergency Services Specialist, and Randy Lilly, Director of Berkeley County Emergency Management. Your continued support and commitment to strengthening the search and rescue community by providing opportunities for training are greatly appreciated. Because of leaders like you, responders are better prepared to serve when our communities need us most.
Thank you to everyone for your dedication, commitment, and countless hours spent sharpening your skills to better serve our communities. Congratulations again to all of the new National SARTECH I graduates on this outstanding achievement!
