This event is in honor of our late Captain Randy Caudill.

9/5/26 Class #3 Beginning Riders - In Memory of:

🇺🇸 🔥 Captain Randal L. Caudill - Unit 2614 🔥 🇺🇸

July 23, 1960 - January 16, 2010

Captain Randal “Randy” Caudill dedicated himself to the Martin Volunteer Fire Department. Whether fighting a fire, training new recruits, directing traffic or processing paperwork, Randy put his whole heart into protecting his community.
Beyond the fire station, Randy was the spirit of the town. He worked countless hours preparing for the annual Red, White & Blue Festival, Halloween and Christmas. Even while facing years of medical issues his priority was always the children. Whether Randy was playing Santa or a ghost, his priority was to ensure every child had a gift at Christmas and a bag of candy at Halloween.
Captain Randy Caudill answered his final call January 10, 2010. His bravery, kindness and devotion to others will never be forgotten.

UPDATE: There are multiple reports of roadways covered in water across the district.

Rt7 and Rt2029 intersection has been covered and impassable.

Water is covering the roadway on the mouth of Stone Coal and KY-550. Also water is also over the road in the curve at Cases furniture. Please use caution and remember TURN AROUND DONT DROWN!
