Come join the Society for a special presentation by Suzanna Graham Pye on Cape Cod's role in the institution of slavery and how colonists participated in and supported this inhumane system through various means. Ms. Paye authored the book “For the Unremembered: A Journey of Reflection into Cape Cod’s Connection to Slavery,” in which she highlights the importance of recognizing the contributions and lives of those who were deliberately left out of mainstream history and explores significant locations across Cape Cod where enslaved people once stood.

The presentation will follow a short MMHS meeting
