ADOPTED!!!

Not just Cats! Meet Valentina! 10 wk old pit bull puppy. One of my fosters witnessed her being hit by a car (who did not bother to stop). After being rushed to an ER Vet, he determined that Valentina was VERY lucky. I believe God preserved her life. Valentina will be undergoing her puppy shots and deworming this week. She needs a forever family who is as loving and gentle as she. If interested please PM me. Transport can be arranged anywhere in the US. Excellent Vet references required.

Had the great privilege this week of working with a group who truly understands RESCUE- Shelter Dog Transport Alliance. 16 cats and 2 dogs went to Montreal today. We had a lot of stops/starts, but in the end if you're willing anything is possible.

My good friend, John, sent me this. Sums up the rescue life. I have shown up to a clinic wearing two different sneakers. 😆 The not so funny side is when you swear you hear meowing in your vehicle when you're alone or you're compelled to go check said vehicle one more time (in 90° heat) to make sure you didn't forget a cat in a trap.

Last Week Walter Peabody was wandering alone in a Supermarket parking lot on a night when low was forecast to be 22°, friendly and trying to get in to the cars of shoppers. Sadly, he was not chipped and no one seemed to be looking for him so we fear he was dumped. This week he is fully vetted and awaiting the start of his new life. If you've ever wanted your own pet Panther (that's not going to happen;) but you may be lucky enough to adopt Walter Peabody. You can meet this 17lb talkative bundle of pure love at the Petsense in Laurinburg, NC.
