A truly heartfelt thank you to every single one of you who gave, shared, prayed, and believed in this mission. What started as a small passion project for Misonzi has become something real—something life-changing. 💙🩵💙

In this video, you’ll hear a deeply personal message from Tendo’s father. Tendo’s life—and tragic loss—became the spark that ignited this entire mission. His story is the reason clean water is now flowing where danger once lived.

Because of you, families no longer have to risk their lives to drink.

We are so incredibly grateful. And we ask that you continue to keep this mission in your prayers as we press forward—bringing safe water to more islands, protecting more children, and freeing more communities from the daily threats of disease, crocodiles, and hippos.

This is how change happens. Together. 🌊

Thank you from Misonzi

💧 $770 left.
🏝️ 4,500 people.
🐊 300 crocodiles.

Misonzi Island is in the final stretch of receiving clean, safe water — and we’re almost there. In February 2025 , a young boy named Tendo was killed and consumed while collecting water from the lake with his father.

Let’s make sure no one else has to risk their life for a drink of water.
Please donate or share to help us finish this well. 🏁

On Kaazimalanga Island, children don’t just walk to school — they travel by boat to a neighboring island each day. And on both islands, families still rely on dangerous lake water to survive.

Our hope for Kaazimalanga is simple, but powerful:
💧 two wells — one at home, and one where the children go to school.

By bringing clean, safe water to both places, we can dramatically reduce the daily risk these children face and protect lives on two islands at once.

This is how real change happens — thoughtfully, locally, and with love.
Join us in making this story one of safety, dignity, and hope. 🌍💙

💔 “He had gone to wash his feet… they found a crocodile had eaten him” 💔

This is Isaac, a neighbor and friend to Tendo — a bright, outgoing boy loved by everyone on Misonzi Island, Lake Victoria.

In February 2025, tragedy struck.
Tendo went to the water’s edge to wash his feet… and never came home.
A crocodile attacked — one of an estimated 300 that live around this island of only a few thousand people.

The community tried everything — even pouring oil on the lake in desperation — but it was too late.

In the months since, grief has rippled through the island.
Rumors — untrue and without substance — began to spread, causing division and isolation for Tendo’s family. But in truth, they are a community torn apart by pain and shock, trying to survive a loss no one should endure.

Tendo’s story reminds us that this is not just a tragedy — it’s a turning point.
Because we believe that out of this loss, life can flow again.

We’re raising $4,500 to bring a clean water well to Misonzi Island, home to roughly 4,500 people — that’s $1 for every life touched by Tendo’s memory.

This well will mean safety for children, healing for families, and unity for a community still trying to make sense of the unthinkable.

💧 Let’s make sure Tendo’s story brings life, not fear.
💧 Let’s help Misonzi Island find peace and water again.
