🌸Mother’s Day Cupcake Fundraiser!🌸

Hi everyone! I’m breaking out the piping tips and offering cupcakes for Mother’s Day!

All proceeds from this fundraiser will support The Readers' Collective and help us continue creating programs that inspire a love of reading, nurture curiosity, and bring our community together.

Cupcake design will be as pictured below and orders must be in by Tuesday, 5/5🤍

Summer Leadership Opportunity!

The Readers' Collective is seeking 4+ creative and dependable high school students to assist with our 8-week summer program for children. This year’s theme, Exploring Environments, will bring ecosystems like ponds, gardens, oceans, and rainforests to life through read-alouds and hands-on activities inspired by the Over and Under book series.

TRC’s mission is to foster a lifelong love of reading, encourage curiosity, and strengthen community connections for homeschool students and their families in Marquette County, MI. Our summer program will be open to all families, including public school students.

Students will help lead activities, engage with children, and support a fun, welcoming environment alongside the program leader (parents/guardians remain present; this is a supportive, not supervisory, role). This is an unpaid opportunity offering valuable leadership experience, service hours, and a letter of recommendation/ reference.

Who It’s Great For:
Students interested in education, healthcare, child development, environmental science, or community service and anyone who enjoys working with kids, spending time outdoors and building leadership skills.

Program Details:
Wednesdays, 10:00 -11:30 AM, starting June 17th (8 weeks total) at Presque Isle. We will also have one planning meeting prior to the start of the program to gather student input and ideas for activities.
