Wow! We are blown away by the response to our summer speech program! 🎉

Our Marquette program filled incredibly fast and now has a waiting list!
✨ Escanaba and Ishpeming are also close to being full
✨ Gwinn registrations are starting to pick up quickly too

Thursday morning was such a unique experience and a wonderful way to start the day! A big thank you to Mark and Walt on Sunny 101.9 along with Nikki from The Superior Health Foundation, for the opportunity to feature our organization on air.

Our Executive Director, Jenny joined the show as a grant recipient for UPCT pilot programs and shared the great work our organization is doing in the community. We are so grateful for the support and the chance to spread awareness of our mission.

🌟 FUNctional Skills Program
Designed for middle and high school students who would benefit from functional life skill support and practice within the community.
• 6 weeks of skill enhancement
• 1 session per week
• 90-minute sessions
Registration Fee: $200
• Begins Tuesday, June 23

🎉 School-Year Speech Therapy Program — Registration Now Open! 🎉

We are excited to open registration for our school-year Speech Therapy program in Marquette! This program is designed to support students who already have a current plan of care with a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Please note: we do not complete formal evaluations.

📄 How to Register:
Families should contact their treating SLP to request a referral and registration forms, or feel free to message us directly for forms or any questions.

📍 Location: Marquette
📅 Dates: February 9 – April 24 (following MAPS scheduled closures)
🗓 Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays
⏱ Session Length: 30 minutes, twice per week, after school.

✨ Important Note:
This is a pilot program with a limited number of spots, and we expect them to fill quickly. Families will be notified of acceptance by January 23rd (or sooner).

🎉 Exciting Program Updates from UP Children’s Therapy! 🎉

We’re thrilled to share that our After-School Pilot Speech Therapy Program will be launching its second cohort soon! The program will run February-April and be held at NMU.

This pilot program was made possible through an amazing pilot program grant from the Superior Health Foundation. UP Children’s therapy is forever greatful for your support. Together, we’re continuing to make a real difference!
