Last month we surprised some amazing MISD educators with funding through our Innovative Teaching Grant.

๐ŸŽ Teachers from across the district submitted creative ideas to enhance learning in their classroomsโ€”and weโ€™re thrilled to announce that MEF awarded over $11,000 to bring those ideas to life! ๐Ÿ’ก

A huge thank you to GVEC for awarding the GVEC POWER UP Grant to the Marion Education Foundation! ๐Ÿ™Œ

This incredible grant will help us purchase:
๐Ÿ”น Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG) machines
๐Ÿ”น Shielded Metal Arc Welding machines
๐Ÿ”น Oxy-Acetylene cutting torch rigs
๐Ÿ”น A hydraulic metal band saw

These additions will modernize and expand Marion ISD's Agricultural Technology, Mechanical Systems, and Welding programs โ€” giving students the tools (literally!) to spark their skills and shape the future. ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฉ
