DKMM and Marion County Recycling Encourage Residents to Continue Recycling Through New City Drop-Off Program.

While collection methods may change, recycling remains an important part of keeping our community clean, conserving resources, supporting jobs, and reducing waste sent to landfills.

Have unwanted electronics?🔌

Many electronics contain batteries and should never go in the trash or recycling bin—even if the batteries are dead.

Marion residents can dispose of them safely through:

📍 Special Collection Event
Saturday, June 27
Delaware County Fairgrounds
9:00 AM–1:00 PM or until full

📍 Marion County Appointments
Can’t make the event? Schedule a Marion County appointment. The next available date is July 8. Call 740-223-4120 and leave a VM or email [email protected].

Same fees and limits apply.

Recycle electronics responsibly to protect the environment and reduce fire risks from damaged, aging, or dead batteries. 🏡

We’ll be there in support of the DKMM Solid Waste Management District—Marion County is part of this district and we will be participating in the event.

Can’t make it? Call to schedule an appointment in Marion during the week. Electronics collections are available by appointment only through November. Same fees and limits apply.

🚗 No wait! No line! Household Hazardous Waste Collection is happening now till 1:00p!!! Enter through the west side gate off of Fairgrounds Street and follow the one-way loop for a quick and easy drop-off. ♻️
