🌿 KMaCB Adopt-a-Bed Input Needed! 🌼

6 🌾 New England Aster
7 🐛Hairy Penstemon/Beardtongue
8🌼 Black-eyed Susan
9🐝 Wild Bergamot/Bee Balm
10🌱Common & Swamp Milkweed
11 🦅Wild Columbine

🌎 Votes will help guide future planting decisions where possible.

💬 Feel free to comment with other native plants you love or would like to see, or share your experiences and what you enjoy about any of the plants listed!

*UPDATE: For scientific names of non-hybrid species, see Carol’s comments on each plant.

Some hybrids may be less beneficial to pollinators because breeding can alter traits they rely on. Native pollinators and native plants have evolved together and are often a perfect match. ☺️
