One of the most rewarding parts of teaching in our small community is the ability to watch our student’s growth throughout the years and staying connected after they leave our building.

For those that know him, Sage Brewer is an Elgin alum and a current senior at Ohio University. A few weeks ago Mr. Schwartz, our band director, traveled to OU to watch him perform. He said, “Sage and the band were amazing. He was 1 of 6 trombones that had a dance feature this week. It was so cool to hear his stories.”

As we approach the 26/27 school year, we reflect on years past and look forward to welcoming a new year!
In doing so, we think of our retirees and years of service awards we were able to honor on our last PD day in May to close out the 25/26 school year.

(Please note: if there are any mistakes or if anyone was left off, it was accidental. Please message the page and we will correct our mistakes. Thanks!)
