We can not thank our wonderful hunters and volunteers enough for all they do for our kids. They spend countless hours feeding, and preparing for these hunts. They give piggyback rides up steep places that is hard for the kids to walk. They drag bears out of crazy hard places. They do all the dirty work and they love and care deeply for each child that comes and is a part of Livelikemeganfoundation ..We literally could not do this without each and every one of them.. thank you !thank you!

Today. After a great week of hunts ,something special happened.
These guys ran this bear all over the woods to end up taking it right behind Megs resting place. To say this is special is an under statement.
I know shes been with us all week and i feel she had a hand in all our kids getting a bear!!!

This sweet girl is only 9 years old but don't let that fool you. She is a true huntress. She hiked 9 miles round trip in some super rough mountain terrain to get this bear. Congrats Ally on your NC black bear. So glad we could make your dream of hunting bear come true!

Levi got to do a little fly fishing while here with us this week . He was able to catch a very rare tiger trout that even amazed the guide. They are beautiful but very rare in the waters here.
