Living Democracy: Engaging Citizens is supporting the eight Washington County Water Districts and Washington County in their efforts to protect safe drinking water.

We are advocating for the State of Ohio to implement a three-year moratorium on new injection well permits and to prohibit the importation of radioactive waste from out of state.

We are also asking the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) to study the concerns raised by Washington County residents regarding the permitting of injection wells near our local aquifers.
