Start your Friday right all summer long. Join us for a social run Fridays at Cochran Shoals. 7am. 5ish miles. If you’ve got time, stick around after and enjoy some donuts or bagels.

Red Top Rumble is on as planned!!

The primary roads in the area look good but please drive carefully and be aware side roads might be less clear.

We have marked the course with orange ribbon, orange flags and signs. The trails look good with some snow. Be careful on the bridges!

We have lots of parking at the visitor center but if it fills you can park back at the overflow parking lot at shelter 2 (self parking- short walk to the visitors center)

The Journey to Starts Soon

We’re two weeks away from launching the 100-day countdown to the 2025 Pine Mountain Trail Run, taking place Sunday, December 7 in Pine Mountain, Georgia.

This countdown is about more than race day. It’s about the journey—training runs, early mornings, staying motivated, and surrounding yourself with people who love being outside, pushing limits, and doing amazing things.

Over the next 100 days, we will:
• Celebrate runners from past years
• Recognize the volunteers, sponsors, and friends who make PMTR possible
• Share trail stewardship tips and stories
• Give sneak peeks at this year’s new merchandise
• Honor one of the oldest and most storied ultras in the country

On Day 100, we’ll kick things off with the release of the official Pine Mountain Training Playlist 2025 on Apple Music and Spotify.

From the Race Director’s chair: all contracts are signed, permits secured, and work is underway on this year’s merchandise and swag. Everything is on track for a memorable race weekend.
