Our 2026 Cookie Season Celebration Party was a hit! Most of our troop met at Xtreme Wheels for an afternoon full of fun. The girls roller skated and rollerbladed, played games, enjoyed ICEEs, and celebrated all of their hard work during cookie season together 💚

Tonight our troop created their own rain sticks inspired by the sounds of rain and nature, and they made beautiful pressed flower bookmarks using real flowers and plants. The girls did a wonderful job using their creativity, sharing ideas, and appreciating the beauty all around us for their art badge 💚

Tonight we wrapped up our 2-part STEM Career Fair! 🎉

We had two incredible guest speakers join us to share their knowledge about STEM-related careers, and it was such a fun and inspiring experience for the girls!

A huge THANK YOU to tonight’s speakers:
✨ Logan (Bowen’s Dad), who taught the girls all about what a Project Manager does
✨ Lori (Emily’s Mom), who shared what a career in Finance can look like

The girls asked some amazing questions and learned so much. We’re so proud of their curiosity and engagement!

Our Earth Day Spring Clean-Up was a success! We had 11 Girl Scouts from our troop, along with a few siblings, a couple of friends, and some members of the community, join us for today’s adventure. Together, we collected 4 large bags of garbage and helped keep our park district clean and beautiful. Great job, Girl Scouts - We’re so proud of you! 🌎💚

Our 9th and final cookie donation drop-off at Animal House Shelter in Huntley was a success! In addition to delivering cookies, the girls got to tour their new building, learn all about how they help animals in need, and even enjoyed supervised playtime with puppies and cats! Thank you, Animal House Shelter, for everything you do! 💚

Our 7th and 8th cookie donation drop-offs went amazing. This morning, one of our Troop Leaders dropped off cookie donations to Fox Lake Animal Hospital. And this afternoon, some of our troop dropped off cookie donations to Glory Bound Rescue Ranch. A BIG thank you to everything these organizations and employees/volunteers do for animals. We appreciate you! 💚

Our 6th cookie donation dropoff went great this afternoon at Katherine Leggee Elementary School. We are so thankful that we could spoil the school staff that supports all of our scouts at all 4 schools they attend 💚

Two more cookie donation drop-offs are complete!

Yesterday, we delivered cookies to Ulysses S. Grant Intermediate School, and this morning we stopped by Riley School.

A huge thank you to the staff at both schools for everything that you do to support our Girl Scouts and serve our community so well. We appreciate you! 💚

Our first three cookie donation drop-offs are complete!

Yesterday morning, we delivered cookies to the amazing staff at Locust Elementary School. Then this evening, we stopped by the Marengo Police Departmentt and Marengo Fire & Rescue Districts to share some sweetness with our local heroes!

A huge thank you to all three for everything you do for our community - we appreciate you so much! 🥰

Stay tuned…over the coming weeks we’ll be delivering cookies to three more schools and three local animal shelters/rescues! 🐾💚

Tonight kicked off our 2-part STEM Career Fair!

We had some incredible guest speakers join us to teach the girls about different STEM-related careers, and it was such a fun and inspiring experience!

🔧 Tom (Addie’s dad) for teaching the girls about plumbing
⚙️ Megan (who works with one of our scout moms) for sharing all about engineering
🦷 Carrie (Maddie’s mom) and Britny (Brooklyn’s mom) for showing us what it’s like to work in a dental office

The girls asked great questions, learned so much, and had an absolute blast! We can’t wait for part 2! 😍

We are SO proud of our girls and everything they accomplished this cookie season! 💚

✨ 19 incredible Girl Scouts
✨ 4,004 boxes sold
✨ 503 MORE boxes than last year
✨ 140 boxes donated back into our community

This program is about so much more than cookies! It’s about building confidence, learning skills, and making a difference. And these girls did just that. Their hard work, confidence, teamwork, and dedication truly showed all season long.

Watching them grow year after year is the best part of it all. Way to go, girls!! 🎉
