On Tuesday, June 9, Marblehead came together and chose to invest in the future of our town.

Thank you to every resident who voted, volunteered, organized, shared information, held signs, and encouraged others to participate.

This vote reflects our commitment to strong public schools, strong town services, and the dedicated employees who support Marblehead every day.

We are grateful to be part of a town that values its students and supports the people who educate, protect, and serve our community.

Strong schools and strong town services shape the experiences of students, families, and residents across Marblehead.

Without additional funding, Marblehead will face difficult choices in the years ahead that could impact schools, public safety, and other services our community depends on.

Together, we support Questions 1, 2, and 3 because we believe strong schools and strong public services help make Marblehead the town we love.

Congratulations to Matt Bach and Deb Gesualdo on being elected the next President and Vice President of the MTA. We wish you both the best in your new roles.

We also want to thank Max Page and Deb McCarthy for their leadership and service to educators across Massachusetts. Your dedication and commitment over the years are truly appreciated.

MTA Annual Meeting delegates have elected Andover Education Association President Matt Bach and Malden Education Association President Deb Gesualdo as the president and vice president of the 117,000-member organization. They will take office on July 15. Link to a news story in the comments.
