This past Saturday, we had an amazing time at the Rising Star of Texas Welding Competition hosted by Texas State University! 🔥

Our students not only got to show off their impressive skills, but also had lots of fun meeting industry professionals, connecting with trade schools, and competing alongside other talented welders. Plus, they scored some brand-new welding hoods! 🧑‍🏭👏

Certified Division:
🥈 Brandon Seely — 2nd Place out of 69 (2F Lap GMAW)
🔥 Mario Cortez — 9th Place out of 73 (3F T-joint GMAW)
🔥 Sebastian Jimenez — (2F T-joint GMAW)

Oxy-Fuel Torch Cutting Contest:
🔥 Cypress Neve — 13th Place

It was an awesome day filled with learning, growth, and lots of fun. We couldn’t be prouder of our team! 💪🔩

Our two incredible members rocked the Houston Ag Mechanics Show this past weekend! 💥 Not only did they earn a blue ribbon, but they also secured 3rd place in their class with their welding trailer! 👏⚡

They absolutely nailed their project presentation—the best one they’ve given all year! 💯 Their teamwork, dedication, and skills were on full display, and it paid off in a big way with a multitude of prizes! 🏆🎉

We couldn’t be prouder of these two seniors and their incredible success. The future is bright, and we can’t wait to see what they accomplish next! 🌟

Super proud of our first-year Ag Mechanics students! They’re mastering the 4x4 flat plate with 6011 electrodes, and the results are amazing! 🌟 From overlapping welds to consistent bead shapes, they’re turning out some beautiful work. Keep it up, future welders! 🔥 "
