We are in need of 1 to 3 more teams Friday 8/11/23 for the 2nd Annual Fleming/Streets Scholarship Fund Raiser Golf Outing! 4 person teams $100 Per player (includes lunch, golf, cart, dinner and prizes)! (if you are wanting to play and you don't have a team we will find a group for you) All proceeds go to the scholarship for graduating senior BB player or manager. Good Morning Friends! We are looking for some help this Saturday June 10th at North Scott HS at the first annual Bill Fleming / Dennis Streets MCHS Boys Basketball Scholarship shoot out! This is a fundraiser for the scholarship. We need volunteer for score keeping, clock and gate. We need workers for the gate for 9:00 AM to 2 :00 PM and scorers and clock ppl form 10 AM to 3 PM. As organizations are struggling to find the next generation of leaders, the Maquoketa High School Alumni Association is facing the same challenge.

Since 2005 the MCHS Alumni Association has been heralding the pride of being a Maquoketa Cardinal. Over the years, the core group that operate the MCHS Alumni Association has dwindled in numbers. At the current number, the requirements of operating the organization outpace the volunteers.

With that being said, the 2022-2023 school year will be the final year of the MCHS Alumni Association group’s existence.
The MCHSAA will award two $500.00 scholarships in May 2023 and will then cease operations.

No membership renewals will be mailed out for this school year.

We thank you for your past contributions. And many students have had successful college experiences because of your generous membership donations.

Together we have also helped fund the Jack Marlow Sport Complex, the speaker podium for Maquoketa High School, and assisting the Hall of Fame. If you are interested in taking a leadership role in this group to keep it viable, please contact Doug Knickrehm, Kerry Schepers or Bob Gavin.

Thank everyone for your support over the past 17 years.

Congratulations to Carley Davis and Noah Nabb! Today we presented our 2022 MCHS Alumni Association scholarship winners with their $500.00 checks. Carley is headed to St. Ambrose University this fall and Noah will be going north to Loras College. Best of luck to Carley, Noah and all Cardinals that are heading off to college.
