Camp tomorrow is currently a go! We will still be closely monitoring to ensure it is safe for everyone in the morning, but as of now we are seeing the air drastically improving at the park as the evening has gone on and it looks like we should be okay tomorrow.

We have worked hard today to update schedules for all of our units and we will be starting early tomorrow at 8:30am instead of the previously scheduled 1:30pm.

We understand this is a long day for all and any parents who are concerned their kiddos can't make it through the whole day, that's okay!

Our littlest unit, Sprouts, has a 4pm pickup time. 1s, 2s and 3s have a pickup time of 7pm, with the rest of the camp staying for a sleepover.

Camp tomorrow is cancelled due to the smoke levels. Please watch emails and social media for updates regarding the rest of the week.

We have been closely monitoring the smoke conditions and working with council. At this time, we are able to continue with camp but please know those conditions may change today.

Also as an update, we have our own air monitoring system at the park so we can also get real time readings from our own location, just so everyone knows how we came to these decisions.

What an amazing first day of camp! Thank you to all of our amazing volunteers for helping make everything happen!

We are monitoring this week for weather changes, including smoke in the air. When the AQI reaches an unsafe threshold, we are required to shut down camp programming on-site, effective immediately, as we do not have enough indoor units and program spaces with air-conditioning required to accommodate all campers and staff.

Our threshold is 150, so if we reach that, we will send out a message, make calls, post on social media, etc, to get girls safely out of camp. Please watch your phones as we approach Tuesday and Wednesday.

We can't wait to see everyone tomorrow!

We are so excited for camper check in today! Some reminders:
*Camper check in is from 5-6:30pm, we recommend not getting here right at 5, but spreading out a little bit.
*Camp has a speed limit of 5mph, please adhere to this as you will be asked to not return if you are speeding
*You must turn right out of the park, no exceptions. You may turn around up the road more, but you must turn right to leave the park
*We do not allow parents to reverse in camp, you must pull forward at all times. Please pay attention to how you pull in and park so that you may leave easier.
*The water at camp is not drinkable so please send your camper to camp every day with a full water bottle! We do have some water at camp for drinking, but it's easier if we aren't starting off with empty water bottles
*Sunscreen is going to be important! Please sunscreen your children in the morning and send them with sunscreen for reapplication.
*All campers and staff must wear close toed shoes, Crocs do no count, even in sport mode!
*All campers and staff must wear their camp shirt every day. This is for safety purposes so we know who should and should not be at camp.

Camp is coming up quickly and welcome letters are being sent out. Everyone should be receiving theirs in the next couple days!

I wanted to draw attention to our service project this year. We will be collecting items to donate to the Cancer Center at Valley Medical. Spoiled, one of our directors, has been receiving treatment there this year and there's a very special group of people that collect and hand out items to help make people's stays more comfortable.
