🏈 THE ONLY PLACE TO BE THIS THURSDAY IS CRIMSON STADIUM! 🏈

Thursday night is one of the most special nights of the MGYFA season — Dave Malenke Youth Night!

We’ll kick things off with a tailgate at Fernbrook Fields with The Lookout Bar and Grill, then it’s off to Crimson Stadium! All MGYFA players are invited to wear their MGYFA jerseys and join us as we form the tunnel for the Maple Grove Crimson Varsity players as they take the field and kick off their season!

We’ll also take a moment to honor Dave Malenke, a founding member of MGYFA and an important part of the tradition that makes this organization so special.

It’s a night filled with football, community, tradition and Crimson pride — and a memory our young athletes won’t soon forget.

MGYFA Moms came together to get everything sorted and ready to go as our Tackle athletes take the field for their first games of the season this week!

So much work happens behind the scenes to make game day happen—and we are so thankful for all of our amazing MGYFA Moms who continue to make this program special.

On Tuesday and Thursday, our 1st–3rd grade boys officially kicked off their seasons! With 24 teams and more than 230 athletes, the fields were packed with energy as our young athletes took the field for their very first practices of the year!

The Pavilion was full this week as 20 tackles teams and 400 players came through for MGYFA Weigh-ins! We welcomed over 60 kids to the Black Stripe Club!!

On Wednesday night - our Girls Flag Football season started! 100 Girls hit the field from 1st - 8th grade to meet their coaches and teammates. They will have 2 weeks of practices and then will do practice/games on Wednesday nights starting September 9th! Let's hear it for the ladies!!

As Monday continued....all the the Tackle players came to the Stadium for our Big Family Picture....this year the Crimson Varsity Girls joined too! Starting from the Top - Varsity/JV, Sophomores, Crimson Girls, Freshman, 8th Grade, 7th Grade, 6th Grade, 5th Grade, 4th Grade, 3rd Grade, 2nd Grade, 1st Grade and Coach Spurrell in the middle! Oh what a night! Hearts are full!
